I have never found, or even heard of, such a source for JD pricing. Post on the Garden Web (link below) asking if anyone can give you their recent quotes or buy prices (they have a large L/G population). (PS. Before buying a 455, a fine machine, at least check out the Kubota BX's). ....

Cost is relative. Cost of doing business in the US is higher (wages, infrastructure, etc). A new compact in the USA probably runs a typical owner (my guess - not based on actual statistics) 20% to 33% of their annual household salary. What is the ratio in Asia? ....

They don't give them away that's for sure but they are cheaper and easier than the alternative - back breaking manual labor (or labour if your from Pakistan). I can't believe they are all that much less expensive in Pakistan unless they are assembled there from imported parts. Besides, you may have noticed from the postings on this board that for a lot of people compact tractors may not be entirely necessary for their "work" but they are a lot of fun. ....
