I just purchased a JD 1070 but did not get a owners manual. Can somebody help me, does this have a live pto or a two stage clutch?

What a two stage clutch means is, You should be able to push the clutch down about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down to stop ground travel while the pto keeps turning. At that point you should feel the clutch pedal get a little stiffer and if you push it all the way down, the pto will stop. If it does not work this way, it either needs adjustment or replacement. ....
