Cutter, two questions for you. 1. What size barn did you have built? 2. How much concrete was used to
complete the floor? I just had a Morton building constructed (size 30 X 53) and was trying to figure out about how much it would cost me to finish the floor? Thank you in advance. Stanley ....

Stanley,
You are going to think I'm senile, but I don't remember the amount. I talked to the builder the day he did it and since then have forgotten. I can tell you that we had three of those trucks you see in the pictures full of it, don't know their capacity. My building is 40 x 60 and the cement is 4" thick on average. Since it was a package deal, I can't really tell you how much the cement was, but he was EXTERMELY reasonable. I wish I could have afforded the Morton, but they came in at almost double the cost, that would have meant a much smaller building for me. Congratulations on building such a fine barn, I am envious. ....

Thank you cutter and steve arnold. Sorry for the long delay in responding. The Morton building is wonderful! Quality is the best, they really have their act together. Next step; water and sewage rough in for bathroom, (shower, toilet, slop sink, wash basin), electric, floor drain rough in, then concrete. Haven't got any quotes for concrete here in Maryland yet. Still working on the above. Again thank you!! Stanley ....

Cutter,
how high is the ceiling in your new barn? Did you go with the 14 feet you had originally planed? It looks higher. Just starting to plan a barn for myself.

Yes it is the 14' high as planned. I wish I had made the two smaller doors 10x10 rather than 9x9, the boat I bought is much larger than I had planned on, it blocks too much of the big door. Makes it a pain to back in with those 8.5' wide items. ....
