JD 5510 Losing Power only on inclines
My John Deere 5510is keeps losing power going uphill and when turning but runs great on a flat stretch. I replaced the air filter and hydrolic filter. What could my problem be?

If the tractor is new to you and you are new to tractors are you changing gears to climb the hill or to make turns? You may be using to high a gear for the grade or the turn.
If that is not it but the engine is dropping rpms can understand the air filter but not sure how the hydraulic oil filter could have an impact on it's speed. But with it losing power climbing a grade or making turns think you may have a fuel issue. First check the water separator and drain if there is water in it. Be sure you have a good flow from the fuel filter as there may be trash in the tank moving over the outlet with the grade or slope of the machine changing n grades or in turns.

as was mentioned i would check for a fuel issue, have you owned it for a while and this just happened or did you just obtain it?drain the tank and change the fuel filter for starters, funny you mentioned the hydraulic filter,my 1984 kioti with power steering bogs down if i make a sharp left turn, dont know if its the power steering that puts more strain on the engine or not but if i steer by pushing the left brake it doesnt do it,no inclines where i live so dont know about that, maybe someone will post with an answer
