I would like to know also and something thats not milky when applied,for decks and sheds with rough siding,used to use thompsons that i just sprayed with a garden sprayer,was clear and penetrated the wood,but as most products that us older guys have used,woked and relied on have come and gone

Both have their place in my shop,had to cut spring perches off an axle tube and not very good for a sawzall but a grinder i can cut them off and grind the welds,in a tight spot and to say cut a bolt off you cant get a grinder to a sawzall so its like 2 different animals,really need both for the shop

First I believe go by the manufacturer recommended hrs, and/or I also go by the type of stress Ive put the engine under,pulling trees out of the woods?just cutting grass?also what temperature zone you in?8 hrs a day in 100°days?so my thought is,I know my tractor,what I do with it and how hard I push it or don't.but every 100 hrs excessive?I don't think so,oil and filter are cheap insurance compared to engine damage.

Then I would say probably a seal in the ram that powers your front wheels,you could take the hose going to it off,turn the wheel and if fluid shoots out you know it's getting to it at least

wow 15,000,i guess thats good for new york,im in NC,did away with my shingles and went with metal,quoted about $9000 for shingles and $13000 for metal,1650sq ft house,1 chimney,2 valleys and all my boots and they removed the old non working attic fans and covered the holes,warranty against hail and peeling, i thought metal was high priced but i will never worry about my roof the rest of my life

theres also 2 versions,2 different dip sticks,old version has a straight dip tube,newer version has a curved dip tube.old version has a looped pull on it,new version has a knob pull

forgot to post it but i did find a fluid level plug,after numerous times looking for it theres 2 hydraulic lines that lay beside the clutch pedal that go to the power steering,i pulled the lines away from the gear box and behold there it was and i was only about 1/2 qt low

glad you found the issue,my mom has dementia too,the hardest part is all the lessons learned growing up from them and seeing them slowly fade,hard to correct them too,my mom gets really angry if i try to correct something she did or if she still tries to be independant and she cant,when she repeats the exact same statement 10 times in a rowi act as if its the first time she said it.this is all off the beaten path of tractors but we all have parents and grandparents and were all human first

as was mentioned i would check for a fuel issue,have you owned it for a while and this just happened or did you just obtain it?drain the tank and change the fuel filter for starters,funny you mentioned the hydraulic filter,my 1984 kioti with power steering bogs down if i make a sharp left turn,dont know if its the power steering that puts more strain on the engine or not but if i steer by pushing the left brake it doesnt do it,no inclines where i live so dont know about that,maybe someone will post with an answer

i see this is a really old post but may help someone when trouble shooting,on my kioti i had a similar issue,start great 2-4 times then nothing,removed and cleaned evey elec connection,almost to the point of changing the starter,one day i was looking for the overfill plug for my transfer case and noticed a clutch swith,it was loose and floppy,so intermittently the switch would push in and it would make enough contact other times it wasnt in the correct position,i tightened the adjustment nut that puts it in the correct position and keeps it tight and not an issue in 2 years,you still in the pig hunt biz?ive been looking for a place to pig hunt day or night,set up with night vision,but either to far or outrageous pricing,you have a link to yours?

yep,i have both,my no contact senses 24v also since im in hvac and even knowing i pulled disconnects,tripped breakers etc,i always check twice to make sure,to many times i have seen disconnects wired hot because they didnt have the time,money,knowledge...to do it correctly and the receptacle tester you dont need it until you need it

if you have a tractor i would try a grader blade at the least,you may get a few bent tines in a rocky area with a tiller not to mention beating it to death

2 different animals,i have a john deere zero turn,before it i was using a husqvarna 54''cut lawn and garden,for cutting grass,i have 2 acres of yard,i will NEVER use the husqvarna again you just cant beat a zero turn,i can cut an acre and a half before my wife can cut a half acre,and lets just face it we all need a tractor with a FEL and bucket

try to jump start it to give it an extra boost,if it doesnt engage its most likely the solenoid,saw the other reply about tapping it with a hammer,thats worked before for me but i still ended up changing the started,depending on model,type,age etc..a starter may be cheaper and better fix than a solenoid,let us know what you discover
