Depends on the use,If you don't use it a lot ,every two years ,or if the fluid looks milky it needs to be change.best to store inside and not outside.That oil is like motor oil it does wear out.

Current flows from the battery through F1 fusible link (Red Wire) into the<br>

The 187 is rated at 661 lbs at the pins and 529 lbs 24" behind. I would guess the 165 would be a 100 lbs or so less. Just a guess.

Are there specs availalble for the lifting capacities of 3pt hitches

I purchased new NT204C in 2005. I just changed at 100 hours my transmission sump and front axle gear oil. I also changed the hydraulic fluid too. My owner's manual says to screw in the dip stick for the hydraulic fluid and check to see if it is between the marks on the dip stick. Well there are no marks on the dip stick. How do I check it when there aren't any marks to see. Also I was only able to drain 1 gallon hydraulic fluid out with the hitch and FEL down. It calls for 2.38 gallons in my owner's manual for the hydraulic sump but was only able to get 1.25 gallons in it to the top of the fill hole. Also my manual doesn't say to screw in the dip stick plugs at the front axle or the transmission sump to take the readings. Should I screw them in or not? I filled the transmission sump and front axle up to top of the fill holes also too. Haven't started tractor yet. Not sure what might happen if I over fill sumps and axle.

I have an 05 Cub 7532 hydrostatic.<br>

The range select lever is not working. It was popping out of high, then when in a neutral location was in mid gear. Finally it stopped working at all and tractor appears to be in neutral. Took lever apart and shaft appears to be turning to inside of tranny. Anyone have expoerience with this? Any other reasons I may be missing that cause this problem? <br>

Mabutler,

The B2400 would be a far better choice for you, but with 20 acres you should really be looking for something even larger than the B2400. Maintaining 20 acres would be a bit too much to ask of either of these tractors.

Given the choice between the two, the B2400 would be my pick. The larger tires on the B series tractors make for a much better ride over rough ground.

The best part......the B series tractors have a full size category 1 3-point hitch, meaning that you could easily find implements to match. The BX tractors have a smaller 3-point hitch, requiring special implements that aren't easy to find. Used Cat1 implements are available at auction for little or nothing. You could easily fit your B2400 up with a used rear blade, rake, cultivator, plow, mower, etc. Not so easy to do with the BX tractor.

However, I'd be looking for something slightly larger, such as a Kubota L Series with about 40 horses.

First time on Tractorpoint. I have a HPX Gator 4x4 gas.<br>
I have already taken the steps I read in your post. The oil did not separate. I definitely have gas in my oil. I am also wondering if the electric fuel pump should run continuously or if it should pump up and stop with the key in the on position?<br>

There lots of drain plugs on your tractor. Please be more specific as to what it is you want to drain.

Building permits and building codes can vary greatly. You need to check with your county on that. Probably a phone call to the building department can answer those questions or get you close. Do note if this is a true farm some areas have different regulations on them or if a true commercial operation again different regulations on those. I would suggest you make a information gathering phone call to begin with sharing as little info as you can. Here calling the building a "shop" compared to "barn" makes major differences in plans cost, building options and so forth.

As to the building itself would suggest you try and find building like you want and begin with asking that owner. Strongly suggest you do a lot of looking at buildings for there are many options and there can be wide variance in cost on similar buildings.

I understand the fear of large repair bill. In my case I spent more on parts that were suppose to be the problem than it would have cost for dealer with wiring diagram and their knowledge would have cost. Also know each shop and case is different.

If still paying off, have you checked how long warranty is?

This has been topic before and with all such issues the best is to avoid it. Am sure that is why the thought of the chain.

Slow rpms to give time to react helps a lot and also often raising the auger to clear it can. However the stuck auger will still happen so be careful.

Use pry bar or such to rotate the auger back with tractor turn off.

Know there was talk in another thread about using hyd powered auger for this reason so you can reverse it out. kt

Both front and rear differentials have drain plugs. But that's not all. You also need to drain the transmission and the transfer case. They share gear oil with the rear differential housing.

I noticed that the rear end was leaking on my x500 and also noticed it was low on hyd.fluid can you fill it yourself or do you need to take it to the dealer? if you can fill it yourself will tractor hyd. fluid work.

May 17th I had the local mechanic who works on my L3240 come out to the house and do the 200 hour service on my tractor. The hour meter was at 203 hours. It took him about two hours to do all that was a part of my manuals requirements for the 200 hour check up. All was well except for some bolts that needed to be torqued to the correct tightness. It has been an amazing two years with the L3240.

I have an early 80's Belarus 820 that my father bought new. We never had any issue with the hydraulics before but today the 3 point hitch arms will not raise or lower. The reservoir is full. My nephew was going to use the tractor earlier and had move multiple levers. I believe everything is back to normal but the arms still won't move? Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I had the same/similar problem with the 1300, turns out I had to remove the lift section, force out the piston and clean & hone the cylinder and piston, then clean out the valve module, I replaced the 2 o-rings too.

moisture had been getting in at the shifter, I remade a boot for that. the moisture was most of the problem, causing crud and rust in the cylinder that jammed it ....
