OK - I sawed the pin on both sides of the cylinder to get it out. After sledgehammering the 2 remaining sections of the pin they still remain frozen in. Oil etc nothing loosens them. So I torched both with a rosebud flame tip using acetylene and still nothing hammering with a mall hammer. I drilled 1/4" holes through both of them with much effort. Now What? I can't believe case would make the clearance hole only .001 inch over size. This should not have happened.

check the photo above. I drilled 1/4" holes on both sides of the stabilizer infringing slightly into the rusted tight pin. I didn't feel this hole would jeopardize the integrity of the stabilizer. It also allowed the Aerokroil penetrant along with rosebud tip heat to penetrate between the stabilizer and the rusted pin. That along with 20 tons of press pressure let the pin begin to slip. Also used a hammer on the outside of the stabilizer where I could. I slipped the whole pin, and later reused the pin. after removing the rust the pin was a much better fit going back together. Are you familiar with the Areokroil penetrant? It is the absolute best that I have ever used. Not cheap, and I order online from Kano labs. I highly recommend it. ....

OK - I'll try anything. I just ordered 2 cans of Kroil on ebay. Also, today I'm going to try to burn through the hole I opened to 3/8" with my torch. I can't see how to use a press considering its location and I dread having to deal with removing the foot section - another ugly pin. I've been contemplating cutting through the ears longitudinal with the same cutoff wheel, down to the pin sections. Then using a chisel to force the hole wider. Once out I can re-weld the slot I made. I looked at other websites and many are using Oxylances, which makes a fast and nasty looking hole. The fact that many other have this problem Case mfr should be ashamed of their engineers. ....

cheap Dextron automatic transmission oil, mixed 50/50 with acetone. Douse morning and night for several days.
Can you get to Harbor Freight, they have a hydraulic gear puller.

Or if you have an Air Impact hammer, you might be able to vibrate it loose. Make sure you wear hearing protection.
vibrate while spraying with the mix. ....

If you have a cheap source for carbon dioxide, try freezing it between heating it. The expansion and contraction will help loosen it. ....

I assume by now you got it taken care of. If so what did you end up doing?

Nearest to this I have had was some harden bearings and I ended up with carbide burr grinder and some stool time. Carefully ground through one side so it could be collapsed. ....

I ended up purchasing a cutting torch $240 and burned out the two sections. The other oils I ordered were not any good either, waste of money and time ordering the stuff. My new pin went in after I reduced its diameter .010" plus I added my own grease fitting. Shameful engineering from Case Mfr. ....
