I was hoping if anyone had any advice on what John Deere i should buy. I have a 53 acre lot. My plan is to mow the pastures and i would also like a front loader. Any ideas?

For that size you'd need agricultural or golf-course equipment (unless you plan to be in the saddle 24/7). ....

Wertibnm2, I have a JD 4500 FWA compact Reverser w/loader (72" bucket & fork attach that changes out in seconds) A must for land owners of any size. I only have 9 acres but I work about 80-90 with this 4500, I can run a small sq bailer JD 336, move up to 2 5x6 round bailes at once, front, back or both. I find that I am using the forks 80% never would hve thought. I also added a wagner 3pt Back hoe (9ft depth) using the power beyond kit on the 4500. Of course whl weights are a must front & rear. I do have a larger Tractor but I find my self in the saddle of that 4500 most evey day plus its a fuel sipper. You can find used 4500,4600.4700, same chassis 39hp and up. Good hunting. ....

How about CK27 hydrostat with KL130 loader? I think it would come for about $20,000.

Be sure you do NOT buy non synchronized transmission. Be sure you have power steering. Be sure it is comfortable to YOU and the controls make sense as you will want to use them without having to look at them. You should test drive it just like a high price auto, carefully and how you would use it.

Try to think honestly what you will use the land for and be sure you buy for 5 and even 10 years down the road. I think more people buy under size than over. For me, my needs grew.

Basically you're right but I feel a bit of sarcasm here. I mean, who doesn't buy a vehicle without power-steering? Don't know about others but I would never choose any truck/van/car which is uncomfortable to ME. So what do you exactly what to say, I don't get it. Kindly clarify!!! ....

If you were referring to my comments there is no sarcasm meant in any manner. Trying to just share some thoughts and help prevent mistakes I have either made or would have not for the advice of others. ....
