I am having problems with the hydraulics. Making a screeching noise when operating loader and keeps losing power until it will hardly operate the loader at all. Have checked the fluid levels and they are fine. Only have 171hrs on the tractor. Manual says shouldn't have to change hydraulic fluid/filter until 300hrs. Could it still be the filter?

Makes sense for the price to change the filter and oil if manual calls for that. But you mention the hours, how about the time length?
However does it only this with the loader or anything else hyd but the loader might be such a big user compared to other circuits you may not notice. ....

I've only had it for 3 yrs. It was new when I bought it but had never been sold, just sitting on the lot. Have never removed the loader. Been using it mainly for moving dirt and leveling. I talked to the tractor company I bought it from and they said to start with the filter. Gonna go get one today. Hopefully that will fix the problem ....
