I have a JD 1070 4WD with loader bucket, and would like to buy a 3pt hitch post hole digger. Does anyone have any recommendations?

They're pretty standardized and straightforard, so I'd think any Category I would be fine. Deere has its own line. Most auger bits are like Forstner drills that make the hole the nominal diameter all the way down, but it's easier digging with the conical shape that has a narrow point that gradually expands. ....

Stones here are very few but roots are not. Just for that reason don't think would recommend standing near a hole with auger running and there is loose clothing and buried wires and pipes and old trash pits. ....
