hi, ihave a 4200 deer with a ripped seat, anyone know agood sourse for a cover to fit thatworks till i can aford a new one? thanks in advace john farmer

No idea if they have one that will fit but AgriSupply.com has some. A suggestion I have seen was take it to a car upholstery shop. I like that thought. ....

Sometimes you'll see them on eBay--they can go for $10-$100 sometimes--and these aren't even perfect ones they're seconds. And you only get the cover---no foam or seat pan.

My seats are in new condition. For comfort and warmth in winter and coolness in summer I use genuine lambskin wool car seat covers--about $40 each at the local auto supply. They come in gray and natural light brown. I had to modify them with ordinary scissors to make them fit the low-back seats. No more sweaty Kenny errr...butt. Hi Kenny! LOL ....

There are various systems for repairing rips in vinyl. Not just tape; I think they melt the vinyl back together. If they work, that would be the easiest way to go. ....

Ask around at farm equipment dealerships. I've gotten rebuilt seats from the local Deere dealer. they have an outlet for someone who exchanges worn out seats for rebuilts. I've gotten several for my old Farmalls from them.

hi, thanks for all your help . i think i will try talking my wife into modifing acar seat cover, iwill also look into the dealer tradein idea that sounds better thn buying new. again thanks and be well! john farmer ....

Take a look at Tractor Supply the sell replacement seats for way less than the dealers.
