Hi: Has anyone ever used one of those "Skid Steer Solutions" loader mounted 3 point hitch/pto attachments? They appear to facilitate using CUT size implements with pto's (such as snow blowers) on the loader instead of the rear pto at a reasonable price. I'm wondering about their power and how exact a person has to match the hydraulic flow. The two standard flow models meet right in the middle of my hydraulic capacity (15.9 gpm not including steering) so I'm wondering if the #80 would be too small or the #125 too big. I have a 6' blower and have observed that standard flow hydralulic snow blowers aren't known for their casting distance. Just toying with some ideas before next winter.

Just a word to the wise:

Check around for competitive prices for the same item---I know that guy at SSS. He doesn't make everything he sells. You'll find he marks up nearly double his cost. Cases in point: a backup camera system--his price $189--identical one from Walmart $99; special skid steer wheels from mfg. $3500--his price over $6000; skid steer tracks: retail direct from mfg. $2,800--his price $5,000---plus shipping.

And he'll screw you on the shipping cost too. The skid steer tracks happened to be made just miles from me. He wanted $250 to cover shipping claiming they had to be sent to him from Michigan then to him on the west coast and back to me in Michigan. BULL! They were to be drop-shipped right from the mfg. right in my own backyard! ....

EW:
I've noticed other types of attachments online that appear identical to Erskine Attachment's line. SSS claims to be the inventor of this particular gadget, though. I've seen the same thing on Ebay for $1995 compared to SSS $1895. It might be worth a call to Erskine anyway as they're only about 60 miles from me. They are owned by Bobcat. ....

It would probably end up a bunch cheaper to get a standard blower and use a quick-tatch plate to mount it to the SSL then just belt-drive a 24hp engine on the input shaft to power it.

Best of luck. ....
