Hello, I recently got a yanmar 186 tractor thru a inheritance that has 291 hours and in very very good condition...altho it has not been started in about 4 yeears...but has been in a barn here in texas...my question is what do I need to do to this tractor before i crank it....change oil drain diesel tank and then what some advise would be appreciated very much

I would do a thorough check, include the following:
Complete check for rodents and critters and the damage they might have done.
Replace all filters
New thermostat
Check battery at local shop (do charge and load test)
Blow out radiator fins
Flush radiator
Check electrical system (key position before start/crank)
New oil
New fuel
New fluids throughout
Drain sediment and water condensation trap in fuel if present
Grease all zerks
Check tire condition
....

Other than Ann's excellent list.
Check the clutch is free, rusting solid after that amount of time sitting is common.
Before you try to start it, but after draining as much fuel as possible, refill it with fresh diesel that has been supplemented with a quality additive such as Power Service to clear out any junk in the fuel lines.
