Have any of you guys experienced transmission "creep" with your HST? When I let off the pedal, it still tries to inch forward a little bit. 190-ish hours, and under warranty...I just hate to lose the tractor for any time to the shop.

There is an adjustment, usually a pair of bolts with stop nuts, that work as an adjustment of the foot pedals connection to the HST unit.
In your case it sounds like it's off a little bit. Should be a pretty easy adjustment.
Best of luck. ....

I have a Bobcat that does this all the time, and until this post I had never really thought twice about it. In my case, if I'm working on a slight incline and trying to position something that has to be just right, the machine will move down hill unless you manually correct it. The electric brake will lock up the wheels, but it still lets the wheels move just enough to piss you off before they do lock. Thoughts? ....

Mobilus,
Nice to see you again, Sir. I was beginning to wonder about you. I haven't heard much from you since your auto accident. Hope all is well with you.
If your Kubota is like mine (?), you'll find that the hydro pedals rock back and forth on a pivot point, located under the right floorboard. That pivot point is nothing but a steel tube, slipped over another tube. There's a grease zirc located on the outer tube. It should be greased from time to time, due to moisture and dirt that could easily penetrate the area. (Use the proper grease according to outdoor temperatures)
There are also two return springs on the rocker. When you release foot pressure on either pedal, the springs are supposed to center the control on the rocker.....which stops any creep.
My Kubota tractor came with a factory provided addendum, showing how to properly adjust those springs. The springs are adjustable, and are designed to place a certain amount of pressure on the rocker. If the forward spring is too tight, the rocker will tend to tip forward. This will cause your tractor to creep ahead. If the rear spring is too tight, your tractor will creep backward.
Try greasing the pivot point. More than likely, this is all you'll need to do. If the adjustment nuts have loosened on one spring or the other, I'll be able to supply you with the proper measurements, so that you can adjust them correctly.
Please shout back if you need further info.
Joel ....

On my blue I get creep--buuut that's the neighbor lady yelling that at me : )
Annnnywho...on my blue CUT there's a fair amount of linkage which has a fair amount of play at each pivot. Not a biggie.
Now the blue (really, yellow) skid steer has what is called SAHR (spring applied hydraulic released) parking brakes. Man do they work! A couple times I shut off the engine before I came to a stop and talk about instant-on! It comes on so quick and soild that you can hear the fan belt squack from stopping so quickly (my Dodge this too after it's warmed up awhile) ....

Thanks, Joel for the concern. And thank you Murf for giving me the answer to the problem.
I got pretty beat up in that accident...took a lot longer than expected to get well.
As Spring approaches, I get more and more excited about it! ....

Most times it is the beginning of a problem that will only get worse. Lubricate the linkages and all pivot points. It would be rare to find one that might need adjustment. ....
