I am looking for a place to purchase a bolt on toothbar for a 48" loader. I bought my forks from Payne but I do not beleive they sell toothbars.

Tried eBay? They have some deals there.

You could go with individual bolt-on teeth too. Cheap way to go.

Another option is a one-piece tooth bar (not sure what to call it or who makes it) but it bolts to the cutting edge, appears to be laser or water-jet cut, and at first clance looks like a toothed rake made from a cutting edge---and one side is chamfered just like a cutting edge. I saw one at the New Holland dealer and one installed on a road grader. The advantage is it doesn't sit higher up in the bucket and doesn't require another memeber to stiffen it other than the bucket's cutting edge. ....

Tip of the week time again.

If you are using a FEL to do something like lower an area by 6", such as removing some topsoil for a patio, using a box blade with scarifiers, set to 6" depth, to break up the soil, then using the standard bucket with a plain smooth cutting edge to scoop up just the loose material makes it very easy to do it quickly and very accurately.

Best of luck. ....
