Is the I-match quick hitch a recomended accessory for a 2210. I have a rototiller, forks, ballast box and will aquire a box blde in the future. What warrants this feature. Does it really make hook-ups that easy?

If you park your implements on level ground it certainly does make hookups easy. You can mount them up without getting out of the seat, except to hookup the pto shaft on your tiller. However if your implements are not IMatch compatible you'll have to make some modifications to them which you may not want to hassle with. ....

I bought tyhe I-Match hitch for my 2210 and couldn't be happier! Now I just back up to my implements, raise the hitch, lock two levers from the seat and drive off to work. As stated I only need to get off to hook up the PTO on my tiller. No more adjusting the sway bar turnbuckles. No more fighting with alignment of holes and pins. Mine hasn't been off in over a year!

You won't be sorry if you buy one.

Thanks so much for the input, it makes the decision easier talking to the experienced. I'll pick one up. I read some of the older I-match posts and was wondering what the BAD RIVER HITCH is all about? Again your expertise wouldl be appreciated. Thanks Again ....

The Bad River hitch is a receiver hitch that mounts on the tractors 3-point. It has a receiver tube that fits standard type hitches. They have versions for IMatch and regular non-IMatch versions. Here's a link. ....

The Bad River Hitch mounts to a Category I drawbar and to the upper arm. You can then use your truck hitch in the receiver. The upper arm prevents the bar and ball from rotating under load. Look at some of my pictures and you'll see it on my 2210. It's well made and they sent mine very quickly from the plant in Michigan. I leave mine in the I-match when some other implement is not in use. It great to be able to back up to my trailer, lift it up and move it easily. If you are good at welding you might make one - several guys have great examples in their pictures. For me, I can solder copper plumbing - that's it. I needed help.

The John Deere I Match will work with the 2210. I used one for months with out a problem on my 2210. However I did come to a problem when I wanted to use the I Match on some non john deere or frontier attachments. To solve that problem I traded in my I match for a Land Pride Quick Hitch. The Land Pride Quick Hitch has an adjustable top link hook that you can raise and lower in a 10 inch range to fit most off brand attachments.
