Just picked up my first tractor. The dealer wanted 31 k for a 4710 R4, 460 loader with HD 73" bucket, 48 hoe with 12 and 24 inch buckets. Loaded tires and 5th servo. It is power reverser with 220 hr. It was listed as 2004 model. I picked it up for 27k. Is this a fair price. The tractor was in mint condition. It also has tilt and lift.

the way i look at it: is if you got what you wanted and you're happy what difference does it make what you paid for it. it's your money. ....

jdcman is right, never ask about a price after you buy. But it seems to me you did just fine. ....

Thats a fair price, 220 hrs. is very low (500 is broke in).
A comparable new machine with attachments would be 34K plus tax (retail). Plus a New machine comparable would have the John Deere Power Tech engine (4320) the 4710 has a Yanmar engine. (better IMHO).
