I have a Bolens H1502 (Iseki TX2140T HST) with Bolens loader and Woods 650 backhoe. My personal opinion is that:
a.) the Woods 750 backhoe is way too big for your tractor
b.) I would not use either backhoe without a backhoe
subframe that ties into the loader subframe on this
size tractor; i.e. I would NOT 3PH mount either

Woods no longer sells any of these backhoe subframes, as I bought the last 6 of them up before they were sent off to the crusher.

My uncle has a Hinimoto and when he checked the transmission fluid it was low so he put 80/90 wt. gear lube in it. It is a gear tractor, but I'm not sure what model. I'm assuming he should have used hydraulic fluid, but he doesn't have a manual. First question, was my assumption right in that it should be hydraulic fluid? And secondly what kind of damage could it cause with the gear lube if say he put a pint in?

I have seen a number of loaders where the front support does little more than rest on a support point, which allows
some wiggle room during operation. I have had several JD 70A loaders with an interesting quick attach feature in the front, but they are a little loose, so the support tends to mushroom over time.

You certainly CAN use tractor hydraulics...its the best way to go. You may want to get the remote hydraulic option at the time of purchase, so you can use other implements that require hydraulics. That is a sweet machine. Pls post what you are paying, itemized, if you will. What part of the country?

Anyway, if you are buying all that from a dealer, they are supposed to set it all up for you. I have seen the new Woods 3130 frame mount and it is huge ($960 list). Pls post a picture of it with the b/h on it.

I have sold a couple of L2550DTs a few years ago. I will be selling my current one probably this summer. With loader and good R1 tires, I can get $8K easily for it here in CA.

Hello again, I hate to make a mistake but apparently I have, that mistake was making the statement that my ex dealer is selling Kama's. I must have gotten my wires crossed. Jim Travioli is not selling anything, he is completely out of business. He contacted me to set me straight on that. I said it before and I will say it again, he did what he could to help me and honor his obligations with this tractor. But I think if the truth be told, this tractor, or this brand of tractor put him out of business. Jim, I am sorry for the mistake.

So, the plot thickens. I have the Hy-Gard numbers Deere published in Nov 2002 and it lists UDT but not Super UDT.

Until I read the new Hy-Gard numbers, Chevron All Weather was the only Hydro fluid that claimed parity with Super UDT.

I reasoned that was because it is a full synthetic and covered all the bases.

Now I have to ask this: If Low-Vis Hy-Gard is supposed to be the "do it all" fluid, hows come it doesn't cross reference to Super UDT and Hy-Gard does.

I think my head hurts.

Someone is going to pop in here and say I am forgetting Amsoil. I cannot bring myself to consider Amsoil because of price, non-standard testing and the stupid marketing hoops one has to jump through to get it.

Must be nice!! I'm an account rep for "a large over night transportation company in Tennessee", and one of my accounts is a Ferrari dealer in Fort Lauderdale. The parts mgr told me what a set of brakes cost for an Enzo...let's just say I can't afford the BRAKES! Have fun with your MACHINES!

That sounds close enough for me.

When you run the front-loader or any other hydraulic tool that level will bounce all over the map as you pump fluid back and forth.

There is a lot of slop in the system, that extra pint of fluid won't matter.

I would look at the B-series, 7510 and 7610. If you don't mind spending a little more, possibly the 2410. I used to own a sub-compact, but grew frustrated with the limited Cat-1 3-point. The lift arms on the Sub-compacts are just too short to be versatile. There is equipment made to fit these machines, but you will find that there are limitations. I'm not slamming the subs, they are nice machines, but the 3-points can be a problem. I had narrowed it down to the 4115 Deere, TC24 Boomer, and the B2410. The wife decided we needed a B7800. It was a few bucks more than the B2410, but a larger tractor with more horsepower.

Just a caution, the B7xxx series tractors do not have position control on the three point. The 2410, 2710, and 2910 do. Look into whether this is something that would be important to you. Good luck.

Something is wrong as the GST was not used in a 4150 to the best of my knowledge. The 3650 was the largest. We did have one that was a close to the condition and model and we got 7900 for it. They are a lot of tractor for the money at those prices and there should be a lot of life left.

You'r almost asking the ultimate sacrifice form your new MMM. They were never meant to handle such conditions. When you pick up your new machine ask the dealer to rent 3pt. mount rotary mower. Even with the rotary cut it high the first trip then wait a day for the clippings to dry out then cut it again at a lower setting. If it's real heavy clippings you may have to rake them up before you're really ready for the MMM. You'll save more in replacment belts, and possible tractor damage from engine stalling when hot than the rent of a rotary cutter will cost you. "Been there, Done that." Best of luck, Frank.

Kinda like when I traded my 02 Chevy pickup for the 04. I told the salesman who is an old friend that the grille of that 04 was so ugly compared to the 02 that I'd only drive it in the dark, but I've since just accepted it as the new look even tho I still think it's butt ugly. Frank.

In my high school years, I spent a couple of summers working for a Beach resort in the maintaince dept, one task we did on a daily basis was rake a ~8 acre beech. I don't remember the exact size tractor, but I am guessing it was in the 35 pto hp size range. Generally the impliment of choice was a pull behind "rake" that was driven by the PTO that had a track on either side of the rig, with bars that held on "spring fingers" that actually ended up picking up the seaweed and other beach debris, driven in the opposite direction of the foward moving tractor. We often had to replace these spring fingers as they tended to break frequently It was a also on a weekly basis that we power washed the tractor and rake, to keep the salt off the equipment. All in all, working with that equipment was one of the better parts of the job.
