Dave..glad to hear you're getting pumped up. Now, keep working on it until you can keep the front wheel off the ground for at least one block with at least one gear change along the way. I used to do that on my old Bonneville and I'm now back up to...about 20'.

I didn't think anyone actually responded to these posts but,thank you. I called the Howse dealer but he wasn't much help so,I called my Kioti Dealer.Problem is that due to some of these implements being stored outdoors for sometimes months naturally they begin to rust. Getting back to the point,I removed the rubber seal off the slip collar and discovered the spring lock was ceasing up. Some WD40 and a screwdriver solved the problem. Kioti customer support after the sale, there is no substitute.

I can not imagine that you could here it over the noise. I tried the diskman the one day and gave up.
Depending on what you are doing you need to be able to hear what the tractor or implement is doing.

I looked at the JD site and my tiller looks just like the Frontier models - only orange. The manufacture date is 2001 and it bears the designation: Tipo: Zappatrice. It is also stamped Kg: 195. Assuming this is the weight, it would seem to match the JD RT1250. Any further suggestions in tracking down the correct model?

Grinder and i have the same set up, except i have a 51" New metro snow blower. I use mine commerically, on driveways that go straight in. A blade isn't good in MA, i used to live there, and a snowblower is the way to go. Right now i am in the process of building a loader mounted snowplow so i have a choice. Bucket, plow, or blower on one machine. So it would depend on the snow condition to use each machine.

Grinder did you get that cab, i am going to build one myself. Well maybe, I will just add it to the list of project starting on April 15(last day of college) Already includes, to much work for customers, finish snowplow, build 3 bay (brick) garage (to keep tractor and cars dry), finish the basement(needs sheetrock and paint), Restore two JD 110 garden tractor and 2 of 5 locke reel mowers.

You probably have a good point for tractors with heavy usage in rough areas, but for those who put maybe 100 or less hours a year on the tractor cutting some fields, doing a little FEL work, and plowing snow, I figure the battery will die of old age before it fails due to structure. But if I run into a longevity problem, I'll certainly reconsider that position.

i have mounted lights for customers in a variety of places on the class III nh (35,40,45) with loaders.<br>
On the top of the rops but if you do this DO NOT DRILL or WELD to it, but then i have to say that cause of where i work. make or buy a clamp that goes around the bar. (we sell padded clamps that are easy to mount they are 1 on the difficulty scale) I have also mounted to the cross bar an the loader it self there is one spot on that area that nh says is OK to drill in to but only 5/16" holes and that is where you would mount the third function hyd out let on the loader extreme left side right beside where the steel line 90 to the rubber lines.

oh i see the ones that we are selling re tie rod with a 3,500 psi rateing and a surge rating ot 4,500 that is probly why they are more.

Here is the thing billyr sent me the pics of his broken tractor. The factory bucket is not on it it has some kind of 4in1 bucket and a heavy looking one to me. I don't know how to get the pis available to others if any body dose let me know. But it is definitely not an approved attachment for the 7308 loader or the tc33d. All i will say is that if a nh rep saw that he would say he is not going to cover that even if it were still under warranty simply because of the bucket that is attached to it. I can not tell how t is mounted either pinned on or with a ssl style quick attach plate, either way it is not right. I do not think that nh sells a quick attach plate for that loader but i may be wrong. I've only put them on the 16,17,and the new 18la loaders. i know ati makes them for just about every loader out there , but now I'm rambling.

Have you run this by your dealer and area tech rep. to inquire if they would be willing to conduct a teardown failure analysis. (my suspisions are that they will not) Can't hurt to ask. What were you doing with the tractor each time the engine failure occurred?

I have a Shib SD2600. Where do you check and add hydraulic fluid for the 3 point lift? What type fluid do I use? The only filler hole I can find is by the transmission gear shift levers. Does the gear box and 3 point share the same fluid reservoir? Finally, can anyone help me with all the controls on the electronic 3 point control box. The thing goes up and down likes its suppose to but I'd like to know what options those controls give me. All comments are appreciated.

I have a Craftsman mower with a 19.5 hp engine and 42" deck. I'm not happy with the cutting performance of the unit and I've thought about increasing the blade speed by changing the pulleys. Has anyone here ever done this? I know back in the early '80's congress choked down the blade speeds of residential mowers to help prevent injuries from thrown objects. I have about 1 ac of grass in 17 ac of woods so that's not a problem for me. As I recall the blade tip speed is around 10,000 fpm, while commercial mowers usually run 14,000 to 18,000 fpm. I of course have already done the usual things like adjusting the governor up and keeping the blades sharp. I would appreciate any input.
