It happens at all engine speeds from idle to pto ratiog of 2600 rpm. However it is worse at lower rpm.

Lets see if I get this right, buy a compact TLB and play or pay for a landscaper and go play and leave the job to a pro. Seems like you know what would be best to mow what you want when done it's just which route to go. With a landscaper he could also haul those stumps out as well as other debris.

for that you will need to replace the tilt cyl it is not that hard on that size tractor if you still under warrenty have the dealer do it if no the replacement kit have instuctions in it

Thats what I like to hear!! I have never used a box blade but by the looks of it I thought it would do a great job of ripping up old hay fields. (Although I did not know if it would work or not for sure) So I am real glad to hear and see what you acomplish with it. I am planning on killing off all the vegitation in two of the fields before hitting it with the box blade. I have a plow but as you know here in North western Wisconsin Rocks grow every year very well, and everytime you plow it brings up atleast a half week of picking. This box blade may be the perfect tool since I really only need to go down 4-5 inches. 8" would be ideal but a bit less will be fine.
So how many passes do you need to make when using this on a new field? What would be your process?
Your 790, is it fwd? If I done my homework right it is around 27hp? (never could figure out why Deer has all these funky numbers for a tractor?)LOL. Anyway I see you have a 5ft box blade. I am going to buy one tomarroo, was thinking about the 6 footer, you recomend a heavy duty one or will the standard do? Thanks again to all of you here!

Is the cab a hardside type with doors that seal with a car door type weather strip or canvas sides with canvas doors that kind of shut like on the old jeeps? A steel cab would be lots easier to seal than a canvas one. I think your biggest concern should be horsepower, a compressor, elecric fan, and whatever else consumes energy with enough capacity to keep you cool in the cab will use nearly half your available horsepower. I'm not trying to be Mr. Gloom and Doom, but another factor to contend with is all the heat that will be put inside the cab by the transmission, rearend housings, hyd. lines that will have to be taken out thru the AC system. The duty of this tooth is more than my bucket.<br>
Even the 48" models I've seen from implement companies are much beefier than the FEL I'm attaching to.<br>
The holders for them are $9.<br>
So if I run 7 teeth along front edge it comes to about $86 for teeth and holders.<br>
A peice of scrap flat stock, a couple hours with the equipment on the jobsite ( but most certainly not during working hours, or?) and voila!<br>
Better than $280 +/- shipping.<br>

The rec'rs are crimp style but could easily convert to roll pin or other. <br>

The pic of tooth may be deceptive. The 1.5" wide 'blade' piece is 3/8" material, very stout for a little piece. If you had one in your hand you'd be surprised how effective it looks.<br>

Got an xlnt price when they mis-interpreted the 'other' offers I had.
Brand new with a warranty.
They are very unprofessional, unknowledgable, and have tremendous public relations issues.
I am in the service biz (26 years now) and they are NOT players. Merely misguided bafoons. Very irritating.

I could spend a weekend at their store and sell more than they sell in a quarter, just by treating customers right and being knowlegeable. The product almost sells itself.

Hard to believe that Kubota knows that there are people out there representing their xlnt product in this fashion.

Actually they'll know here very soon.

Jeeper: I had the very same problem at 31 hours on a 1230 loader and I think the valve is the same on these loaders a Prince double spool. The dealer worked on mine and returned the machine a week later with the valve "fixed". At 40 hours the detent cap broke off while the snow storm raged. Dealer gave me a new valve and I've had no problem since,but I did find that, as DK and Tom have said,the valve needs to be at least checked by an experienced person because the adjustment on the detent is critical to correct operation.

Probably the sway is normal, but my 4110 came last fall with the sway bar linkage put together wrong. It took me a long time as a newbie to figure this out, but once I did, everything involving the 3pt became much easier.

The dealer told me the 4110 is small enough that it comes fully assembled from the factory, so the problem may exist with more than just mine.

You can tell by looking at where the sway bar linkage ties to the shaft it's on near the back wheels. There's a 1" spacer there, and the spacer should be towards the drawbar, not closer to the wheel. My picture #7 shows the correct orientation, after I fixed it. As drankin told me, it's a simple no-tools fix.

It wouldn't be a big deal to stick your shovel handle into a pipe filled with water but that doesn't sound like a good idea with the chain saw.

Kubota is just like any other tractor maker. They tell someone what they want (whether it be their workers/engineers or another parts manufacturer) and they build it to that spec. People are misled into thinking Kubota manufactures the whole shittin shabang. Nope, not true. They build an excellent product, there's no doubt.

Thanks for the input so far. I have a B7800 so I should have enough arm height to dump the bucket, but will definitely check. I am pretty interested in the actual yield out of the drum. The little 5 cubic foot mixers only yield 2.5 cubic feet of mix. I am hoping the 8 cubic foot I'm looking at has a good yield. I guess I may need to get the spec sheet on this unit.

Still looks like a good excuse to get the CEO to authorize the rear plugs.

I know a guy with a 850 w/MMM and shop built loader. He was asking $8950. The loader was heavier built than the JD one. It only had 800 hours on it and garaged kept.

Briefly, because my R4s got lousy traction in our clay soil I ended up in a depression. When I finally was able to back out of the depression the soil under the left side gave way causing a slow rollover. No real damage to myself or the tractor, but it sure was good to have a ROPS and a seatbelt.

HUSKY i just purchased a 4110 hst w/ 53"fel,ballast box,a pto driven frontier rotary spreader, a 48" befco box scrapper and i match quick hitch, 260 lbs rear wheel weights
a pair of rear work lights deliverd to the house today for the grand total of 17'445.00 less 6 k for my 445 jd garden tractor and then financed 11445 at 0 interest for 36 mo this dealer id in pa. he beat 3 md. dealers but 6oo on trade
and 911.00 on the tractor. what a deal. roboha

Tell him you want it for $14000 flat out for the used one and get two hats. See what else we would throw in since its used and most people who spend that amount of money want it brand new.

Where is it. I wouldn't mind another one at that price. As long as its in excellent shape. I paided $9000 for one at 140Hrs and had a MMM. Usally they go for $13,000 for a Loader and MMM.
