Anyone ever use this? It looks very light? Do you use this with the 3 point powered downward? I will be breaking a few acres this fall after several bouts with round up, my soil is tough stuff and am looking for something to loosen up the top 5-6" before disking. Do you think the box blade with the scarifers down would work in the same way or maybe even better? I was looking at the KK cultivator and it is only a one row? Thanks again

it is almost like a sifon the more load the greater the effect you probly noticed it dose not take that much pressure from your foot to bring it back to neutral the engienires just missed it by a littel bit i know my spelling smells like a rotten fish lol

These guys have better soil or luck than me, maybe both. I am constantly trying to lighten my load while mowing. Not so much because of compressing the soil, but because of the damage done during turning. I find it necessary to keep the front end as light as possible to avoid turf damage while turning. My tractor weighs 1750lbs plus full R4 tires and the loader frmae. I take the FEL off to mow and use a rear finish mower. I have to be very carefull making turns. My soil is pretty sandy, probably would not be as much of a problem if your soil has some clay in it.

i have a l3830 thats smooth as silk, and a massey ferguson 135 with perkins that will shake your teeth out at low speeds, both are three cyl.

c5er, your question about the FEL on a subcompact is a good one. I had a subcompact with a FEL and had fun with it, but found it somewhat limiting. If you did get a full, or close to full bucket, it seemed like the machine was working real hard to deal with it. It was handy for moving things around the property, but wasn't a good tool for moving piles of dirt or gravel. The difference with the CUT I have is amazing. Didn't know how easy it should be to scoop a good bucket of stuff from a pile. If you have a lot of loader work to do, move up to the CUT.

Thanks Tom for your input. I tried to get a a service rep at Kioti USA to respond but he hasn't yet. I was warned also that damage in this area would void the engine warranty so maybe I'll forget it, but dag nab it they advertise a front PTO. Oh well I'll get over it.

the float control on my loader pops out of its detent easily when engaged and sometimes it does not even engage. could it be some trash in the system? it only has 58 hours so far.

we sell a lotr of 3pt phds but i dond like them for one they dont reverse 2 the are combersom 3 down presure take my advice spend the money and get a bucket mounter hydraulic dive unit there worth every penny

ever comcider renting somting like a terimite if you get it on a satuday you normaly get it for the weekend for the coast of a day roughly $160 or less

I'm mid construction on my insulated concrete form house. ALL things steel, and other metals that are alloyed with steel, are climbing. Doesn't matter if it's made here or over there. China, and to some degree, India, are building a lot, and as mentioned before, this is causing a short term rise in steel prices.

I just had to buy 18000 feet of #5 and #4 rebar. It's almost doubled since I started my project, but back then, I didn't know how much I'd need. Sure wish I had bought it in December!

I just bought all my steel brackets for framing and ledgers, and my bolts. They are starting to rise, but home depot hasn't raised the store prices yet, so I figured why not. Better to buy them now than pay another 20% in 8 weeks.

Do you mean you are selling the tractor or buying? If selling the tractor it is a good price. If buying it is no real deal maybe a little high.

I bet you need a rotory cutter for that pasture land you have. See the classifieds for my Landpride rotory cutter that came off a BX2200.
