Hello.
Had similar problem with FZ2400 front mower with D1105 engine ( 3cyl)., 1500 hrs.
Started and ran okay.. After 10 minutes or so.. steady stream of oil out the breather and valve cover full. Oil light goes on. Engine oil normal to overful at startl. Also oil on the ground when machine parked.

Turns out.. bad injector pump with oil leaking when parked ( fuel tank higher than pump) out of shims for injector timing and being squirted into the oil pan when operating...mixed iwth engine oil.. Filled tbe valve cover and then the stream oil diesel/engine oil started. Changed the injector pump ... problem solved.

Thanks for that link. An excellent video. Looks more complicated than I thought it would be.
My leak is only minor on one side and could be due to pressure build up. The vented filler cap looks a good idea, also using thicker oil. The dealer used udt in there which is pretty thin. I noticed after removing and replacing the filler cap the leak seemed to stop. I think i will live with it for now and keep an eye on it.

We have several of them, you need to consider two things before pulling the trigger.

First, they're mechanic roll-over, the operator has to get on & off each time a change is needed. With a 'conventional' box blade with hydraulic scarifiers it's just a flip of the wrist to change positions. In our case it's no big deal because when we need scrarifiers down it's for an extended period of time. In that case the teeth penetrate much deeper because there's nothing limiting the depth of penetration. This is rarely an issue in anything but purely commercial use.

Secondly. they are considerably more money than a typical box blade is.

There is a tiny little other thing you need to bear in mind though, a roll-over blade has a big nasty set of rippers stuck out the back, if you back into something it will not be pretty. A conventional box blade has a flat back.

Allstate sends out house inspectors with zoom telephoto cameras specifically to get close ups of any shigles that have any lift to them at all to deny policy coverage. Its funny they do not even look inside the house at all. That said if you do manage to snag an Allstate Policy, their roof overage is very comprehensive. So if you just got a new roof go get Allstate coverage the next day.

They aint goin a pay for no roof replacements under their policy by avoiding any nad all roof risks.

I have put the electronic ignitions in a 504 and a cub with no problems. I tried two different brands and a third on the way. Both are the same except for the price. I have purchased them from both Ebay and Amazon. You might need to know which distributor you have. They say not to use copper wires and replace them with graphite. They also say to use a newer coil but your old one is just fine. If you have dust shield you will have to remove that, just save it if you convert back.

I have friends in the Carolina Applachians that seem to love these Polaris RZRs.<br>

First they have lots of money for toys. Seems all the residents in the community have luxury Mountain homes that have car garages PLUS UTV garages. Since it is so hilly there with mostly older buyers they buy these UTVs to get around instead of walking which is too hard !<br>

They first buy lower priced units like Mules and usually 4 plus passenger models so they can cart the max number of people around with just one unit.<br>

Then they find their teenagers and young adult visitors are bored or embarassed by the uncool 6 passenger UTV.<br>

So they trade it in on TWO RZR 2 seaters with the sportiest look possible. Hell it is no fun being a passenger in one of these is it? Lets drive !<br>

I have seem residents with 3 or more RZR 2 seaters, as many as they can fit in the UTV garage.<br>

OK the scary part is these go for $12,000 for the rock Bottom up to $34000 at the high end, but most pay around $19000.<br>

After a couple rides I wised up and brought cotton to stuff in my ears. The radiator is in front of your feet and if you are tearing it up with the engine roaring you will feel the heat!<br>

I was not aware of how pricey these toys were at the time. I noticed that one of the neighbors had decided against the RZR and had a Toyota Tacoma 4WD. At the time I thought he was CRAZY and would ruin his truck on these rocky trails. But heck he has AC and quiet for the same price as these rackity RZR's. Guess he is the smart one, though as long as the high center of gravity causes him to roll it, which on these trails is highy probable. First time I saw him on the trail I thought he was nuts or was able to back up much better than I do as it would not be long before the trail was impassable and too narrow to turn around.<br>

Figured it out. Removed the steering wheel (had to cobble together a puller that would fit), removed the tubular cover from the steering shaft. Pulled a split pin (not sure that's standard?) that held the column to the power steering unit. Then the three bolts I'd taken off earlier freed the problem area.

Circlip inside that removed, then the seal. 33mm OD, 20mm ID x 7mm seal ordered (unusual size). Turned up overnight. Cleaned it all up a bit & put it back together. Fluid added to the reservoir, started it up and moved the steering a bit. No leaks so far!!!

Still have to put the instruments and switch panels back on, steering wheel etc, but looking like it's all good.

Seems like the only thing they have in common is they are both Massey Ferguson Tractors.

One the 1525 is much smaller at 25 HP while the 1747 is 47HP and much much larger.

I know someone once said if you can turn it around on your property it is not too big, but you do need to look at what you are doing with it to make this decisiion, so please tell us what your tasks for the machine are.

If you can not find a manual suggest you stop by a MF dealership and just ask if they can tell you where it hooks up. Good possibility something broke if it is not connected.

But if the spring is not broken, then it seems it would be easy to figure out what it was connected to unless that part broke. Hope you well.

There would have to be a fee sufficient to pay for the worn out batteries for swapping to work but there would have to be standards in size and design also.

One issue I have with the rechargeable batteries is how about being honest with the side affects of generating the electricity itself. There are cost and pollution with the production of that equipment and many of those options are not near as effective as many think.

Maybe we should promote true horse power.
