My kubota b2320 is leaking oil from the front axle at the joint where the wheel swivels. At present there is only a small drip but I need to fix it as it makes a mess on my concrete floor. Does anyone know what is involved here as if it is something I will probably fix myself. I assume there is an oil seal which needs replacing. I have checked the oil level and it is ok. It seems to leak more after moving so for the time being I thought I would take it out of 4wd to reduce the pressure. I am surprised that this has happened as the tractor is used infrequently.

Thanks for that link. An excellent video. Looks more complicated than I thought it would be.
My leak is only minor on one side and could be due to pressure build up. The vented filler cap looks a good idea, also using thicker oil. The dealer used udt in there which is pretty thin. I noticed after removing and replacing the filler cap the leak seemed to stop. I think i will live with it for now and keep an eye on it.
Thanks again for that information.
