No such thing as a bad question.

But since you are asking this one it may be sign that you would be wise to have an advisor that can guide you in this very significant undertaking.

I rebuilt an engine with no guidance, and it ran after the rebuild, but no better than before.

As Murf said assuming it's a 3pt hitch set up there is a lot of weight there and 3pt hitch settles then resets where it need to be.

Your out riggers should hold the weight.

Do you have the power beyond or regular remote to power the hoe.

Sounds lke you are onto the problem,hope you resolved by finding spring attachemnt point.

Because you have two tractors doing the same thing doesn't mean it is right. The bucket cylinders is the first thing to check.

I was looking into the John Deere 2025 and one thing I found that was super annoying is Reverse implement operation (RIO) which is a result of lawsuits that have forced Deere to come up a system to prevent injury to anyone behind a tractor backing up.

So if you are running a mid mount mower and back up it shuts the PTO stopping you from clipping someone but also stopping your mowing operation.

Seems nuts . But there are all sorts off discussions about how to turn disbable the safety feature. But when you spend over $20K seems crazy to have to start messing with the electrical system on day one !

I think your approach is probably the best that you can do.

You can try boiling water but that sure has limitations in the scale of work that you mention.

Some people use a 50 50 vinegar mix but I have not had great luck with it.

There are other chemicals like ammonium sulfamate and sodium pentachlorophenate, but these are more hazardous than your bleach option.

I have an electrical Problem with my John Deere 870 Tractor<br>

All dash lights are off and the fuel shutoff does not pull in. <br>

When I turn the key on, the fuel will pull by hand and it will crank. <br>

I am 77 and still drive tractors for myself and my neighbor. We bale about 500 rolls each year. I have no immediate plans to stop. In fact, I am anxious to get started this year. I think that most of us have a clock in our head to measure what we are capable of doing. I try to be safe and cautious in what I do. If hooking up is going to be difficult, I wait for assistance from someone or plan in advance. The one thing I will not do by myself any longer is my post hole attachment. I almost lost a finger about five years ago so it has my attention and respect.

I just purchased eBikes for myself and my wife. She is only 61 and she still runs. I had an accident and cannot run any longer but I can still ride a bike. What I have discovered with the eBike (battery assisted while you pedal) is that I can bike hills and enjoy the ride a lot more while gradually getting back in shape. We ride the Pedego bikes and they have a trottle to help you get away from dogs and danger.

One of my neighbors referred to me as an "elderly gentleman" last year and it broke my heart. I still don't think of myself as being "old".

I still farm, run my own business, do my own taxes and those for others in my family and keep active. One of these days, I might even retire, but not for a few years yet. I even wrote a book last year. It took 12 months for me to find the time to write 375 pages.

Keep up the faith and the pace old timers! God still loves us!

It doesn't really have anything to do with it other then the speed of the raise and lower.

Before you do that however find a service manual for your tractor and run the tests
For your hydraulics listed in the manual. It will show you based on results where to start.

Again if test results show faulty rockshaft control valve, odds are it's the screen that
got blown into the rockshaft control valve

When warm the hydraulics start to hiccup every 20 seconds or so. It doesn't effect performance. Any ideas on what might be causing it? (Low oil level, bad seals?)

There is a bracket pointing towards the front of the tractor that needs to be unbolted.
