Hi I bought a Deurr 678 used it needs a carb kit I thought A copy of your manual might help idenify the right kit or the type of carb that came on the 8.0 tecumseh.
I would apprecate a mannual very much if you still have one .

I agree with Frank's comments above.

The only other thing I would add is those Russian tractors are tough old things but they can be fussy to start at the best of times.

A neighbor had one and the only way he could get it to start after running a dry was to started by spraying WD-40 Into the intake using it as starting fluid then keeping it running on that long enough to purge all of the air out of the system.

Most engines only turnover barely fast enough on the starter to catch even when everything is perfect.

I have several Milwaukee corded tools that have been top notch. I would have no problem buying a Milwaukee battery tool.
I don't know who builds John Deere branded power tools, I've got several of their 18 volt offerings that are getting old too, but still work fine except for one failed battery. They are getting a bit dated now because of others that weigh a lot less and have the same abilitys.
My Milwaukee Sawzall, and two or three angle head corded drills are all old enough to draw a pension, but have never failed me, yet anyway.

I've worked on lots of old Farmalls, mostly H and M series, but never had any dealings with stroker kits and that sort of hot rod equipment. I think your two thousand bucks would dissapear quicker a rat at a tom cat convention, and you would only be getting started.<br>

For what it's worth - I have a 625I I think 2010 with a 130hrs - took mine back to the dealer at 20hrs gas in oil - they tried tweeking the fuel system probably leaning it out, but long story short told me I was not using it right "not driving it long enough to warm up, you think if that was such an important thing it would come with a temp gauge" Given that is all total BS "I am a mechanic and own my own repair shop, not small engine" I did send out an oil sample for analysis - they can not actually check for gas but it was low vis. and high water traces "no metal" mine runs fine, when it does start to smoke and miss it is because the crank case is so full that the pistons
ods start slapping the oil in the crank case when I get on a incline. Now I just drain the old oil and put in fresh don't even touch the filter "most the time". The hotter plugs does make since but was afraid to void warranty at time what the warranty is worth I don't know. The bad part is I could not sell it to someone like this so I guess I'll be trading it in on something orange in the future. The other bad thing is I have a JD zero turn, riding mower and 66HP tractor - now I have no faith in the company.

Hello,Im part of a carnival club in somerset.We have a Massey Ferguson 690/698 A reg (1983)as our towing vehicle.We tow a trailor with four brake actuators on the rear two axles.With the hydralic line connected to the trailor brake coupling there is very little pressure passing down the line to the actuators on the trailor (actuators only extend out 2-3 inches yet with the trailor brakes being operated off the hand lever on the tractor they will entend to full bore,around 6-8 inches).Is there any solutions to increasing the pressure on the footbrake side of the tractor to fully operate the actuators on the trailor?<br>
Any advice would be appreciated

It's not clear from your description which piece, which valve, or which cover. Any chance you can show us photos? Or perhaps point it out for us on the parts diagram?

While I am not turned off totally with the BX, I should say I only got it because the dealer for the blue tractors didn't return my e mails!!! His boomers look great. I have two of the older blue tractors of the compact series. They have a great three point system and that spoiled me. The BX is used at a city lot, while the blue tractors are on country lots.

I had to modify the BX control handle of the three point with an extender to the rear, since that control is way forward on the fender. For this old guy at age 85, holding that lever while looking backward at rear equipment just doesn't work.

I really was not expecting that the BX three point control would be any different than my experiences and that of my neighbor with the B series. It goes to show ya gotta test everything before buying.

As to snow plowing with a plow in front, or just a bucket, try that on a lawn area with not frozen soil below. I use my rear blade in reverse, blade pointing away from the movement direction. It works.

Dennis, that Baja looks exactly like mine except I haven't been able to find a bed cover. They are hard to find. The Baja was based on the Legacy platform, was made from 2003-2006 and they only sold about 30k of them. They built some extras in 2006 that may have been sold as 2007 models. The car has a loyal following and they are holding their value quite well.

First fill engine with 15-40 oil for diesel,and fill tranny with a 90 weight oil before you start the tractor,also the Fuel filter may have been taking off ,if so they need to let the air out,if the tractor is diesel.You can do this by either loosen a fuel line to injector pump or it may have a pump to pump the air out of the fuel lines.

You might try to get a manual by calling All States Ag.Parts 1-877-530-4430

How old is the house, they started phasing lead paint out in the 1950's. If you are not sure you can get a 3M lead tester kit a Lowes.

Hi...I have a Yanmar 1300D with Cat 1 - 3 pt hitch.
