thanks for your replys, after alot of messing about, i had floor out and seat and panels.think i ajusted a earth and the codes stopped showing up so i thought i was getting closer. then the arms moved down. i read somewhere about the solinodes on top of back axle. i got a small screw driver and pushed it in and this lifted the arms. since this happened they have worked perfectly.

Without knowing what that hose, or where it goes to, might as well be throwing a dart into a list of potential problems on the wall.

I do know two things however that might give you some clues;

1) It takes a LOT of pressure to rupture a steel line, well up into the dangerous levels!

2) There were two different versions of that tractor, which was also sold under other brand names, one was built in Italy and seems to be a very good machine, the other was built in Turkey and seems to have some quality issues.

I would ask the dealer what that line does and get back to us, generally when a steel line ruptures it's from shock-loading, the pressure to rupture a line far exceeds the setting on the pressure relief valves.

Ice fishing can be risky at times indeed. More than once per year the folks fishing on the local inland lake next to our airport run into some sort of trouble. Sometimes the vehicle, most drive right out on the lake, falls in, sometimes they stay out too late in the spring and find themselves adrift on a large sheet of ice.

Several times the guys at our airport have been called out to drop them some form of supplies, ropes, floats, food, etc.

You'd think they'd earn, but no, every year it's the same.

Personally I love winter fishing, but the key to catching something is picking the right area to fish in. I usually start somewhere about 75 miles east of Miami......

We often just drain where we are if needed. We do remove the large core do to the volumne of air as well as liquid and be sure to hang on to it well. Plastic gloves should keep you safe enough!

Knowing the experience I'd say that there wasn't a mistake made. You could hot shot the solenoid to see if that is the issue.

Dennis- I think you maybe right on little to no snow... but been very cold here, some single digit wind chill but tomorrow and rest of week in the 40 degree range. Too early for Jan thaw...... looks to be like another wild weird weather year... but like the old tv butter commerical ".. don't get fooled by Mother Nature.."

Often when you overload heavy cables like that they heat up so much that the insulation melts, runs into the joints like solder, and then forms an insulating barrier when it cools down and hardens.

If that's the case, cutting off the end lugs and redoing them, or replacing the cables, should solve the problem.

Put a gauge on it. If the power steering has its own pump and it ran dry from the leak an internal seal may have been wrecked. No pump seal, no pressure, no steering.

Any decent hydraulics shop should be able at least diagnose it if not fix it, even with aftermarket components.

Murf is right to use a gauge!!!! I've seen a little adjustment give a lot as well as a far lessor gain from a lot of adjustment.

Before you do anything make sure to do a fresh filter and the right oil. Changes in filter as well as oil can make a difference in performance.

We have often found that when people get used to there equipment that what astounded them for performance at delivery time soon is just the normal when people get adjusted to the abilities of a machine.

I made a Trebuchet (often called a "siege machine") years back, used it to launch rocks out into the lake at my summer place. Many smiles per hour!!

The big advantage over a true catapult is that a trebuchet uses gravity against a lever, not stored kinetic energy. In plain language, little chance of something bad happening.

I've got an Excel spreadsheet I made up that scales everything for you based on some inputs, how big, how much weight you want to launch, etc., etc.

In my case the ballast was easy, poly water drums filled with water. Empty to move lever to firing position, pump them full to fire.

It would send a rock bigger than a basketball 300-500' out into the lake.

That was what I was trying to clarify in my second post. That you had cut the line & connected the OUT to the back half of the cut line. Your post said "the out port going back to transmission ( rear )." I didn't know if it was being dumped directly in the transmission. I've worked with a lot of people with hydraulic problems & it can be hard to determine if we are both on the same page. Did the loader come off of a Ford 1500? It sounds like it is plumbed correct. Did some one close the 3 point lock valve under the seat?

Well technically I guess the TOB is part of the clutch assembly. Fortunately it not expensive. Unfortunately it means splitting the tractor. You should confirm this by viewing thru the inspection window. Cusbyou might need release fingers too

Depending on how the muffler mounts bolted on or clamped also try muffler shop. Found out one locally does a good bit on tractors due to brand prices and probably brands that you have issue getting parts for now.
