Finally got around to splitting it. Got the pressure plate rebuilt. Put it back together and the same thing. I have tried adjusting the clutch pedal but gears still grind when the pedal is pressed down. any other suggestions?

My 2320 is still doing it. I have given up on the dealer as he just keeps on saying the linkage needs greasing. I have greased and lubricated the linkage many times, and it is not that, as the pedal returns easily when the motor is not running. I have become used to it and hitting the opposite direction pedal has become automatic for me so, as I am the only one using the tractor, it is not really a major problem any more. If I release the pedal by taking my foot off quickly it will return quickly most times.
I had thought of fitting a stonger spring but this would be tiring for the foot when operating normally.
I find it mainly annoying when doing slow work when you want the pedal only partly depressed. Apart from this drawback I find the hydro transmission very good. I could write to the distibutor etc, but I suppose I find that would be more of a hassle than problem with the tractor

Pretty much, I even store my big engines this way, use Seafoam in the tank, on updraft carbs, shut off the fuel and run them dry, I don't do anything special for the cylinders, but Colorado has such a dry climate it is not much of an issue. Diesels I fill the tanks and treat, gas, fill the tank and treat. The only thing I do different is checking for mice damage in the spring. Weed whackers, chainsaws, hand push lawn mowers all get drained

LESSON LEARNED: The use of the ninety degree bend worked, however I found that it did create one problem. While I could turn the front tires to the right, I could not fully turn the front tires to their max limit to the right without causing the left front tire to rub on the ninety degree extension. I have since removed the ninety degree extension, and will live with dust and dirt (on some occasions) being blown up into my face.

It is my understanding they use the same flashere unit and I did replace with Kubota parts, a must the way they are wired. But a good question to be certain on one flasher.

Since you won't be using your PTO to power the generator, you might consider getting yourself some bucket forks and then semi-permanently mounting your generator to a pallet.

Should the power go out, you could then simply carry the pallet to the house with your pallet forks, without fear of the generator falling off when you hit a bump, or climb a curb.

My welder is screwed down to a 4'x4' wood pallet. The plasma cutter is mounted right next to my welder. I also have a little air compressor and a large metal tool box screwed down to that pallet; in which I store my grinders, metal clamps, welding rod, chipping hammer, etc.

It's a great little set-up for me, as I feel perfectly comfortable carrying all of that equipment across a rough pasture, without fear of losing anything along the way.

The best part about this setup, at least for me, is that I'm able to store the entire pallet up off the floor on a set of pallet racks in my shop.

Ok, just checked the oil it seems ok but going to change it out anyway. Cheap insurance! Thanks for the tip. Is the diaphram in fuel pump difficult to get to? Tried a diesel shop today and when I told them what it was from they weren't interested in touching it. Damn thing starts and runs so nice, have to get past this problem. If I remove the 2 flat head screws on either side of the plug/breather will that give me access to the diaphram? Is there a schematic available anywhere online for the pump?

Since I have the week off and had gotten the replacement drain plug I went out to work on my tractor this morning. I got out my new 10 inch vice grip pliers with curved jaw, clamped them down tight on the drain plug bolt head, braced my knee against on of the front tires and put some muscle on it.

The little sucker broke loose with no slipping of the pliers. Oh yeah! I got the oil drained and put the new drain plug(14mm) in and finished up the oil change job.

Thanks again to all those who suggested solutions. I am very happy I didn't have to drill it out or even worse replace the oil pan.

This is where I do not know, you would be looking for a spring attached to an eye bolt attached to a lever. The adjustment would be to loosen the nut on the bolt and shorten or lengthen. As I do not have your specific tractor, I could not say where the adjustment may be.

Yes, I have checked the tires with soap and water, not sure about windex. The though of putting duct tape or goo inside just is not a fix in my opinion.

I will go to JD and get tubed!! Mybe if they do four they might throw me a JD hat!

The real problem is that somebody's got the plumbing hooked up wrong.

Move the return line to proper spot of the PB (Power Beyond) plate and get the proper vent put back on the diff. housing.

I've never seen a vent other than the one on the rear axle on any of mine.

John, I wouldn't be too concerned over little differences, unlike Western manufacturers, the Russians offered very few models.

It's more likely just a different vintage and so has some features changed or moved compared to yours.

Have a good look over the machine, there should be a data plate on it somewhere, often it's on the side of the engine, or the side of the transmission housing, often below the floorboards.

I did try your suggestion and it turned out to be a bad connection between the starter solenoid and the starter. The only connection I didn't clean and check was the problem. Thanks for the help.

The rim is clearly out of true. It's not the drive wheel, so I was able to jack that side up off the ground. I put the range select in neutral, and rotated the tire by hand. I confirmed that is was neither the axle nor the hub. I also confirmed that the spacer is flush with the hub, and that the rim is flush with the spacer. The rim itself is about 1" out of true. By the time the error reaches the lugs, they've got a 2" wobble.

I found a used W14L-20 on eBay, but $220 plus freight seems a bit high considering the quite visible chipped paint and rust. I also checked for an area shop that might be able to render mine true again. No luck there either.
