Hello, i have a 4x2 gator that has a problem after driven short distances sometimes it will just cut off and will not restart right then and sometimes it will restart right then, the carb is fresh rebuilt its getting fuel to carb ok it has spark at the top of plug fuel tank has been cleaned proper altho i noticed the new fuel filter never has much gas in it only a small amount in bottom,however i dont think thats the problem, the rubber grommett at the top of fuel tank at the cutoff valve is bad and needs to be replaced any help would be apreciated thanks Bart...

What are some opinions on a 2005 Kubota m9000 4wd cab tractor? I have heard that the earlier year models had severe clutch issues and poor a/c performance. Does anyone know if the later models(i.e. 2005) had improvements on these issues?

As long as the applied torque is not interrupted, the two claws will remain "locked". But the instant that torque is removed - throttle down, clutch in - that spring #145 will cause the fork to separate the two claws. Hence my advice to hang on the handle to ensure the claws stay locked until you have no more use for them.

If you mean a spliTTer-- you need to be much more specific: 3 pt vs non 3pt, towable like a trailer by a vehicle, stand alone with it's own power (engine) vs runs off the tractor, type of splitter---hydraulic, electric, or tapered screw (The Stickler is one brand).

Typically some towable and even some 3 pt models can go from being horizontal to vertical easily.

The only lubrication on a drive clutch is the rollers that ride up the flyweights and the pivot points of the flyweights. Deere has a Teflon based spray called Superlube that is great for both.

Today when I was trying to mow my lawn the deck kept disengaging. I suppose it is some switch that is suppose to protect me from myself. It is quite frustrating. Any suggestions as to how to identify or check for the problem and is there a way to by-pass so I can use the machine?

Whilst the 6X4 is a very useful piece of kit, some kind of PTO could extend its capabilities, for example to run a firewood saw, post hole borer, etc. It seems to me that it could be possible to put a pulley on the flywheel and belt-drive a hydraulic pump. From there it should by just a matter of setting up the appropriate hoses, valves, etc.<br>
Has anybody here gone down this path? Is it practicable?

What is the role actually gearshift lever beside the seat and the PTO lever?Is marked four speeds and the fifth is marked whith letter"c" c wich represents this point?

I have a TC30. The lever that engages the PTO is very hard to move back and forth (engage and disengage). I have checked and there is no grease fitting to lubricate. Any ideas as to why it is getting so hard to move?

Can you decide between engine and something touching? Is it there with the hood up? If you can't localize it by touching things when you hear it, a mechanics stethoscope (a few bucks at auto stores) might help.
