Frank, am right sure I rather get kicked by the goat than cow or have them step on my foot either.

Murf, yep on they are told to be happy so they are. At same time they don't know how good or back other cows have it. Maybe we need to develop a happy cow milk test meter?

Is there a way to post pics here .. this is an old devil and yea the valves connect via little tie rod ends ... but there is no dust boot and probably been cobbled up over and over again .. just trying to find out how they ussually work.

I don't know the brake set up on your tractor but if it is acting if hand brake is set, how are you so sure it is released? Is it possible brakes (drum or shoe) have stuck locked? Could linkage be loose? Could what ever pulls them back be broken or needing adjustment?

Probably not it, but if you have a locking rear differential it may be locked and on my tractors it seems to act sort of like the brake is locked. This also shows up quickly in turning so doubt it.

I could make this statement a million times here but I did not realize how much I used and keep learing in my manuals but it seems every time I find such a post as this I pull a manual on one of my units and learned something else or am reminding of something. Get your self a manual if possible.
When I purchased a used Volvo excavator I made sure manuals were included. Boy they are worth a ton. Sure glad I did not have to buy them seperate.

Murf, probably did not tell people the heat from the unit could melt ice on frozen over lakes.

If decent people don't serve on juries and stop such it will keep getting worse.

Well Murf you may be read your bills wrong or just tying to offer a solution.

But in looking at your pictures it seems you use snow for refrigator and probably freezes also. Now Air Conditioning, probably nothing like it is here. Office air is running today, global warming I guess. But your country is sending us freezing temps with frost next week so guess we have GW under control.

Ole EW, afraid his eye sight and senior moments are showing on him more and more. Guess years or running in circles or almost cirles shows up.

I think the 3320 is a sister to my 4310 with a different dress on. I use it for farm maininence, backhoe work, mowing, whatever comes along and have never wanted anything bigger or different. It's been as reliable as you can get, with that kind of deal, I'd grab it. Frank.

You don't drive your tractor to the nearest garage for mainteance and repairs, so a nearby tractor dealer for your purchase can be useful.<br>

I was very fortunate, I learned management in two places, each had very different ideas of how to 'Direct & Delegate'.

The first was our family farm, for many generations now a large enough enterprise that it needed many 'hired hands', the treatment of them was always the same, they were not family, but may as well have been. When times were good they shared in that, when times were bad they shared in that too, usually voluntarily.

The second was courtesy of Uncle Sam. 'Direct & Delegate' meant orders, but it came with absolute responsibility for same. 'Nuff said.

When I started building my own business both of those styles came into it.

My employees have always shared in the business' bottom line, good or bad. A few years back after some medical problems they (as a group) were offered 49% ownership, they took me up on it and purchased the shares with my assistance.

I'm proud to say they have built the business even further.

I'm firm believer in do unto others.......

I was thinking about it for under the slab instead of foam.The heat will be forced air wood,so slab insulation is more for comfort than anything else. For the walls and cieling I am looking at the custom cut fg batts that are faced on both sides,6" both places.

Have no doubt your hay is dry. Only tying to help point out the difference between hay and straw. It has been told to me this shows way past the baling. But a very simple question, can you not use hay just at a lower amount than straw? In our area we don't use straw on fresh seeding lawns or if so very very very seldom. Use a good bit of hay or straw in bays to control water in new ditches to prevent erosion.

The big problem IMHO is nothing to do with 'opinions' but rather the blind faith some out of touch 'expert' who wrote the book.

Case in point, I have a good friend who listened to his bean-counter and leased, rather than bought his new car 3.5 years ago. MSRP was a titch over $100k for the car, the lease at 0.9% interest offset the cost of the fact there wasn't really anyway to 'dicker' on the price, but it all came out in the wash.

3 years down the road (last fall), the lease is up and the buyout of $62k doesn't look very attractive compared to what the same car is selling for at the time. On the advise of a car dealer friend he hands the car back to the leasing company (a division of the manufacturer) and says thanks, but no thanks.

A few weeks later he accompanied said dealer friend to the auction where he buys his old car back from the leasing company for $32k.

So who was out to lunch, the free market economy, or the guy that said the car would be worth $62k in 3 years?

This is pretty common, more so than you think.

Not that I know of - you have problematic compounds in close proximity. The usual response is to remove one of them.
