I am shopping for a 30 hp range compact tractor. These two models seem to best fit our needs. Any comments, advice, suggestions welcomed. thanks

If you read the relevant posts on this site alone, you may find that one of those brands is associated with more unresolved problems than the other.

You don't drive your tractor to the nearest garage for mainteance and repairs, so a nearby tractor dealer for your purchase can be useful.

There are other good brands with equivalents to those two models. ....
