I'm guessing that it's probably a bit colder there than usual. Diesel engines hate cold weather.

What was the temperature there today?

If the temp was down in the mid to upper 30s, I'd expect you to have some trouble getting the thing started.

Heck, I don't even go shopping while unarmed. I've had a concealed weapon permit for a number of years now.

We had a gas station attendant get his head blown off by a young kid, armed with a 12 gauge shotgun. Why? The station attendant refused to sell him cigarettes, so the kid came back to settle the argument. The station attendant lost the argument.

I vowed to myself that should I ever be in a position to lend a helping hand, I would. From that day forward, I've carried a concealed weapon on me.

The station attendant was a very good friend of mine. He left behind a wife and two children, both under the age of 3. He was a very good man. If ever I am in a position to prevent such a crime, I'll do my very best to help save an innocent life.

Don't have a Cadet, but both of our Deere 345's kill the blade when you back up. I don't know if the newer Deeres do the same, but it a safety feature that a dealer will not bypass for you, kinda like the seat switch. Frank.

Nosteiner; You likely arent going to hurt anything (for a while) the newer hydros are pretty bulletproof, BUT. Trying to do everything in high range puts a tremendous amount of pressure on everything in ther hydro system to the point of bypass. Kinda compare it to you trying to roll a big rock up a hill to you rolling the same big rock downhill. Put it in low range and your tractor and checkbook will thank you someday down the road. Frank.

I don't remember who he was but some race car driver from the past used to sell STP on the TV ads. It probably worked fine in his race car when the oil temps were 300 degrees, but sit a can of it on your tractor seat than open it on a morning when it is below zero. I don't think you will put it in anything that has to move when cold. Frank.

It has what looks like a generator/alternator for a starter with a belt to the engine. Pedal start so you never let off the start position while running. That's why I guessed it was both.

I lived off Mission Blvd, pretty close to what was then called Jack Kemp stadium in the mid-70s. I too was please to see San Diego get this far into the play-offs this year.

Having lived in KY for the last 13 years has swayed my allegiance more toward closer teams. Even though Indianapolis was eliminated last weekend, at least one of the Manning brothers is still in the hunt. I remember occasionally watching their dad (Archie Manning) play for the Saints back in the day.

I stopped at the local TSC and they only stock the large (1/2 ") dust covers. Guess if I want the little ones on my my B7610 I'll have to take the longer trip to a dealer.<br>

I guess they don't sell many of them as the markup must be lie 500% as they charge about $3 per pack of two males or two females by color.

Brian, the green is either an "un ripe" pumpkin or a watermelon. It is my belief when the product matures or reaches perfection it does turn ORANGE! Sort of like the school in your backyard. Hey, no humor what is life? At least there is pumpkin pie if need be. kt

THis is the best picture I have seen. It shows how high the backhoe boom is in the stored position in relation to the ROPS. Our local dealer just got in a model with the backhoe, but even if it were free, I don't have a need for it unless I want to do some jobs and come out of retirement.
I would have liked to have compared the Cub next to a Kubota side by side as I see Emerich is alsot a Kubota dealer.
Looks cold in that picture.
Great site here that helped alot towards my choice. Every dealer I went to were very helpful and courteous. I dreaded at first due to buying cars in the past, but tractor dealerships are a better lot of folks. Too bad they don't sell cars to.

In the OP he called it a "golf cart". There was 2 1200 models, one was a heavy golf cart wiuth a box, the other was a serious hauling machine.

The one you linked to is there, but that is a 2007 model, I doubt he has anything newer than the 80's model.

I was going more from his description in his profile where he says both a "Jacobsen turf utility vehicle" and a "Cushman turf truckster". So he must know the difference between the two.

If I can get the model number, it should be something like 803969, and the serial number, I can look it up.

Augusta Ga. is where the compacts are built. They will take you trough the plant if you let them know in advance you are coming. I seen the compact with the cab before they came out for sale by going there and taking a tour. I think they said one rolls off every 8 min. Where do they go?
