All,
Long time lurker but I could use some assistance with a problem I'm currently having.
The float position has never really worked properly for me and I found some earlier references to this problem but I now am having an issue with low pressure or resistance at the stick when I roll the bucket forward. The bucket curls fine but will immediately begin to roll forward when I attempt to return to center. All other positions work normally. It's as if the bucket will just flop down.
All lines appear normal, also fluid level ok. Is this an issue in the control valve? What do I need to repair the float and curl problems? Thanks

Is the joystick mounted directly on the valve, or does the joystick move push/pull cables which actuate the valve?
If it is the cable type it could just be sticky or mis-adjusted cables.

good thought, I never even considered cables sticking, I guess since the stick on mine is direct mounted to valve.

The stick sits directly above the valve and connects to the "pistons or actuators" via short metal linkage. Does Kubota sell a complete rebuild kit? ....

You don't need to go to Kubota, and I wouldn't recomend doing it unless you know what you are doing either, any good hydraulics shop can easily overhaul the valve for you.
Check that there are no adjustments on the joystick though, vibration can over time change the adjustments or tension of nearly anything. If there are threaded adjusters all it might need is to be re-adjusted back to the proper position for each function.

I had no trouble getting all the parts needed from my local kubota dealer, the removal, rebuild and install on the thing took me about 2 hours or so, no trouble since,
That being said, I do have some limited mechanical experience and love to tinker, I do most of my own repairs on all my small equipment and tools and appliances, if you do not or just don't want the hassle take it to a hydrol shop like Murf said.
