I ran a dedicated circuit to my shed with a 3 way switch inside the house. I leave it plugged in and flip the switch when I want to heat it up. Works great.

Your Deere X is about the same size, weight and HP as a BX (Kubota).<br>

Once you get it set up it should be able to use the same size implements.<br>

When I bought my BX 5 years ago, there were almost no properly sized implements. Now the market is filled with good stuff and in the right size.<br>

Go to "rankineqco.com". On the sidebar click on "turf/landscape" and then click on "rotary cutters". Now click on "Regular duty series" and you will find a 40 inch unit that should work well on your sub-compact machine.

I'm not sure how similar the 00 series is to the 10 series. On the 10 series you can hear the fuel solenoid click as you turn the key before cranking. Have you heard that click before and is it not clicking now?

An hour does sound much too long, but more info is needed. On 2006 and later models, EPA requirements are such that some engines have a forced warmup period. So the first thing that has to be known about your issue is everything that you can read from the engine label.

just baught a ym-240d the first thing i did was to change the oil before firing it up.. it had a (side mount) FRAM extra guard oil-filter (PH3593A).. the tactor had not been started in YEARS .. much to my supirse i was holding my breath when i unscrewed the filter.. i expected the oil to gush out.. but it was dry as a bone. .. i went to napa an asked the teller for a FRAM (PH3593A) he said WOW that filter fits my honda civic..lol ... i was not aware of ANTI-DRAINBACK FILTERS.... WELL to make a long story short i am chasing down a random KNOCK in my motor so i am going to drop the pan and i have orderd a JOHN DEER FILTER (M801002) who knows maybe the (fram/honda) filter cold be starving the oil system causing my random knock.... .. but who knows... .. . you never know

Anyone with any knowledge on these not starting? We have new battery, new deisel, new filter, and it just turns over but won't fire. Glow light comes on , weather is 70+ so It can't be cold. Any ideas would be appriciated- out grass is getting tall!

We have a young fellow in town that his main means of transportation was his lawn mower. Was fine for the most part but this boy stood about 6'3" at 15 and the police didn't take to kindly to seeing their radar gun at 45 when he went by in a thirty zone. Trusty lawn chiefs or anything with a belt drive where he could change the pulleys out worked for him.

I have a Hinomoto E154 tractor that needs a new fuel pump. I've taken all the bolts and fasteners off, but it will not come out of the casing. Does anyone know how to remove this without stripping the entire front of the engine off?

EW, I don't use hotmail but any ISP would need to know your email address and the email address of the sender. If you have an old email from TP maybe you could attach it to your complaint and tell them that you used to get messages from TP (see attached) but they now seem to be blocked by hotmail.

I second Dennis' recommendation of gmail.

That $188 is that retail, wholesale, or jobber price? If you order through a dealer you could see that price double plus shipping. The deal I had worked out with them to buy a skid steer rim was to have a buddy at a tire store buy it and I pick it from him. The buddy wasn't going to mark it up since he wanted to buy more rims and owes me a favor. You might have a buddy at a auto repair or even a body shop inquire--they might be able to buy just one-time without becoming a dealer.

The other opion is contact Gemplers (Supply?) they prety much carry everything Ag too, if memory serves.

Thanks for the information. I considered the cost for the GT 550 and compared it to a Kubota BX 1850. I managed to locate a new machine here in Ohio but it would cost more than the Kubota. A dealer quoted 8000 for the GT 550. I have to go with the purchase of the Kubota.

Mayo Clinic says I can't even go out of the house till May 29th. so my foot will heal. I enjoy watching the Mrs. mow the lawn. Our mower doesn't need blades, she mows so often that her tires just push the grass back down, then it grows a quarter inch, then she pushes it down again. The folks from PETA may come by and tell her that the misquitos don't have a place to live. Frank.

Thanks to all who helped me with this problem. After talking with the owner of the dealer, emailing him posts from this and other discussion boards about the L3400 valve problem, the fix was completed and will be covered under warranty as it should have been all along. I doubt if it would have gone that way without the information from this board and the kind help given to me by the members. In my opinion, the jury is still out on the custom service provided by my dealership. It appears that the dealer's service manager was trying to make as much money as possible for the dealership and Kubota at the customer's expense. The cost to me would have been an extra $700+ for an item that clearly should have been covered under warranty. I am very gratefull for all of your help. Best Regards, Mike Bleill

Yes it is new. Wouldn't you expect the brakes to work "out of the box?" The dealer (salesman) is looking into the problem. His regional rep told him that the brakes need to be heated up. A few panic stops to seat them in. I did that, bleed the brakes, really no help.

I have a 1928 Ford Model A that stops better with orginal style drum brakes. Wouldn't you expect the Gator to win a brake contest with a 79 year old?

I expect the brakes to slide in dirt, at least. Maybe I'm to critical. I sure do love everything else about that Gator.
