HEY! Pork and beans are pretty damm good! Also, ever try Turkey Spam? My wife thinks I am crazy, but, in the boxes of food I had set up in our cabin (after 911) I had 12 cans of spam (turkey and that hamm stuff LOL) The turkey was pretty dam tasty (although my kids said it stunk up the house. (actually it was pretty bland and had a crappy taste) BUT Since I am A Italian-Polish American I was too damm cheap to throw it away and was too stupid to put them in the packs I gave to the food drives.
The bottom line though (and fact of the matter) Is that I was raised in a family that ate what was put in front of you, Period) From Squid at Chistmas time (oops I mean the HOLIDAY time) to chicken livers (breaded and fried of course) I learned to like just about anything that was cooked. The only thing I could never get my self to eat and like THE ONLY THING IN THE WORLD is
(spelling?) Cha-nee-nah (Duck blood soup) I made the mistake of helping the old Polish guys at deer camp make the soup! I had a 103 degree fever that day and when I went to eat it I lost it! Never could stand to even look at it again!

I have been eating peppers for two weeks, and got my first 5 tomatoes today. They were the cherry tomatoes. The beefsteak and better boy have not started to turn. The beans are looking good they have flowers all over them and some beans around 2" long. The mums in the cinder block holes are about 16" high. I have seen alot of lubbers, but No real bug problems so far.

I understand. If the small rubber gasket on the bowl has the slightist nick in it (must look with good eyes or mag. glass)to see it then the engine will produce the kind of trouble you are having. It will suck air instead of gas until it warms up and gets a constant gas flow. It is a good cheap thing to check. There are several different kind of ointments that you can use on the blisters from the pull cord. I know all of them LOL

That is a far safer place to put your hitch links when towing items. What might happen from a trailer pushing up the hitch linkage to far could be quite costly!

OK, Ricardx and I have been exchanging e-mails over the past day. Started off pretty hostile of course, but I have come to find that he can be a pretty nice guy. He has said that he will leave the site (tp) alone. He can be civil and he actually owns a tractor. Just thought I would let you all know.

My Cummins does not leak a drop either but is sure does like to leave its mark of an oily messy residue from the crankcase breather bottle. Now if I could just get about 4 of those new $65 lift pump kits! ;O)

Checked out both of these tractors and was wondering which one to go with and price check for both. HST with FEL. Industrial tires. I will be using my dad's Fordson super major for the big stuff we do. I'm considering this for maintaining a roadway. Light trenching for that roadway. Landscaping. Cleaning up a woods. I want something this size because I feel it can get aroung better in the woods. Anyone have experience with either of these for the digging part? Also the Mahindra dealer is new. One guy, and a mechanic. The Kioti dealer has been around forever. Also have checked the Kubota, Massey, NH, and Case. Which one?

Hi Art, thanks for your reply. All of the engine components are for the 6200 so I may be lucky with the transmission gear. All the specs on this tractor are the same as the 6200 (3 speed pto 3 speed trans with hi and low range) I have seen a few pics on the internet and the 6200 looks identical other then the grille and headlights. The tractor I have is a gray market unit, but I think that is worth the risk because it has only 130 hours on it and it also has a next to new ft end loader. I paid $3000.00 for it.

If your lucky enough to be one of the 'few" who own and have paid for most of their bills already then it doesnt take much. My friends who are full time farmers are funny folks. The ones who live "small" and do not have high rent payments (meaning also equipment) are living life to the fullest. Fullest meaning enjoying every day in the sun,rain,snow etc while also having the time to enjoy fishing hunting etc. The "Other Ones" constantly talk how there is no money in the farms, cant understand why they are still in it, and last but not least complain all the time about the spoiled folks that work in factorys and offices. LOL Funny how two of a kind can have such different out looks on the same life style.
Anouther lady I know has 44 cows (milking) she swears that since all her bills are paid she can live a decent life on just the farm income. She bar tends at a corner establishment part time a couple days a week to make her vacation money. She is one very happy farm lady, and that comes "right from that horses mouth" LOL.

This is just my personel opinion. Plot master will only make you happy if you have a light sandy soil or if your able to work up the ground ahead of time (With a tiller which defeats the purpose of the plot master I think LOL).
Although, if you do have a heavyier clay type soil and you do have a tiller for your tractor, the plot master I feel will do you justice.
I have no experiance with nor have I ever heard of the other one.
