The current JD 4020 Series uses the John Deere 4024T, 4 cylinder 2.4L turbocharged motor. Yanmar engines couldn't give them the power they needed. They are built in Mexico along with most of the larger engines. I think it is Kanzaki that builds the hydros. Most of the parts come from all over the world though, axles from Hungry, ect. The 4010 series used only Yanmars.

I have a walk out celler that I am planning to redo as an apartment for my daughter, When I frame the walls can the spray on systems be installed against the concrete. Also will it help keepout moisture. I don't get a lot of leaks just a couple after bad rain storms. I do plan to frame this with 2x4s so I can at least insulate with fiberglass batts

When we built my house the forms were in, footings were ready and the trucks were on their way when it started to rain. Feb. 14th 1997, look it up AV8! We got about 2 inches in the first hour (or rain) they decided to double truck it since it was not getting any dryer. They made a fast decision that cost them about 2 hours. As the cement truck backed over the area that was where the new sewer,was laid and burried. LOL Stupid is stupid dopes! They needed to use the first cement truck to pull out the second. Used about half the rock (2-3") from my new driveway to get the trcuk backed in later! Unreal, we had 4" that day. All in all the walls came out real nice but had a pump running in the hole for the next week, Before the pump was installed there was about 5-6 foot of water in the hole! I was nervous!
Good luck and IMO dont rush anything whats another month when you compare it to a life time in that new home?

Suppose thats new this year? IMO, Never in a million years would I buy a tractor,car,or tinker toy! That is a NEW PRODUCT line. NEVER! Period, no exceptions! NADDA (sorry I left that one out). No one can ever change that fact, its just not worth the head ache. Yes, you may get one that actually never has any problems LOL! But if your waiting for one, I would cancel my order and give it a year, or better yet, go with a proven model. Take a ride to Wisconsin and take a looksee into out parking lot. Case and point! (ps, I work at CNH) That being said,

What do you use your tractor for?

I bought my first ever hydro last summer (early fall) A cub cadet for cutting grass. I see the conveinance of the front and reverse but I can say that I also dont really care for it all that much. Dont get me wrong, the features are real nice but I have not (yet anyways) got use to having to use a pedal for every movement. With the old gear model, I could let up the clutch and we were back to the set speed.
PS, I have a TC40 gear and love it. I have never operated a tc hydro model so I cant comment on that for you.

I talked to Massey Ferguson about this and they said their engineers designed a skid plate for the hydro unit but it affected the cooling of the unit so for warranty purposes they never offered the skid plate. I don't know why you couldn't make one and perforate it for good airflow.

Hi how are yall i havent been here for a while but just thought i would pop in and say hi. I put a smoke stack on the simplicity the rear ends in the shop right now. They are going to weld a strong clip on it so it doesnt break again at the end of the drive shaft. I cant wait to get it running and driving again. I got some pictures of it but my computer aint working great had 22 viruses so i might be able to show them to you a little later.

Can Anyone Help me? I am looking in to buying a Kubota L2550 with 550 HRS. It has a 6' mower deck, and a grader blade. The machine is in like new condition. I have no idea what the machine is worth. Any ideas??<br>

I would check for corrosion on the solenoid and the resistance on the it. It would not supprise me if the soleniod had developed a short in the coils.

I would talk with my bank first but if the dealer you are buying from has a bank they work with it probably will be easier. Think you will find they trust the dealer as to the value due to their relationship.

My suggestion is that if you are only going to use it to mow go with a zero turn mower. My favorite is the Kubota ZD28.

There's a NH TC30, 2003 with loader, box scraper, diesel, 4 wheel drive, ROPS, standard transmission. Has remainder of factory warranty.

It's on eBay and I've been looking at it. It's within driving for me to pickup, but not to check. If it's as advertised what's it worth?

I suspect you won't want to put a bucket on the front even if someone make one, as it will overload and collapse the front suspension. A simple lightweight snow plow requires heavy duty springs.<br>

My heavy duty springs barely held up under a couple of big guys in the seat.<br>

I haven't found a snowblower yet. It would have to be self powered like the front mower. There are at least a half dozen types of snow plows out there.<br>

Howdy: I just bought a Mitsu D3259FD in January. Everything worked fine. I put it in the barn and didn't use it until now. The hydraulic system doesn't work. I drained the hydraulic oil and replaced it. ISill doesn't work. Is there anything else I can Do other than replacing the pump? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

One of the recent mining fatalities in WV was a dozer operator that set his blade down on top of a gasline. Ruptured the line, ignited and killed him. He was up on a ridge, off of the permitted mining area; nobody knew what he was doing up there last I heard.

One of the surface mines we survey had an accident last year; the timber contractor was "yo-yoing" a dozer from the top of a steep incline with a larger dozer. The cable broke and the smaller dozer went over a small (30 feet or so) highwall. The operator was knocked silly (when some miners went to his aid he was trying to shut down the upside-down dozer)and cut up some; they choppered him to the hospital and he was out in a couple of days.
