I'm looking to buy a new B7610 or 7800 with the 0% financing deal or buy a slightly used (under 500 hours) similar model or one with more HP. The question is how can I finance the used as an individual? I don't want to lease and the lenders out there will not even quote an interest rate without running your credit first. My credit is fine so that is not the issue. Any ideas?

I would talk with my bank first but if the dealer you are buying from has a bank they work with it probably will be easier. Think you will find they trust the dealer as to the value due to their relationship. ....

Go to chase or other big credit card co. Check the specials and call them. I have a piece of property I was paying 9% on at my bank. I got a call from chase and worked a deal for 2.99% with no fees of any type It is a fixed rate till it is paid back. Payback is 2% a month. They wired $10,000 to my account and I payed off the bank
You only have to cover yourself so you do not miss any payments. Do that with auto withdraw.
Also your tractor will not be tied up as collateral ....

I ended up financing through Case-New Holland Credit for a new New Holland. Interest was less on a new skid steer than on a used. In fact I got a new one for less money per month--about $45. And a warrranty. Also, the mfg's are more willing to allow you to skip a month or two (winter) so long as you paid more during the good seasons prior. And the dealer gets a hold back for the financing and the insurance is much cheaper through them than you can buy elsewhere (and the dealer gets a hold back for that too so that makes him happier too) ....
