I was just kidding about building a hangar, but if you really want to they are just BIG steel buildings so any steel building manufacturer should be able to arrange it.

I am just a home owner with a few arces. I have both owned both a JD and a Kubota. Both bought used, but not abused.

I have a Kubota L2850D with a loader and I have been very satisfied with it. However, if I was to buy new, considering, the tractors were the same in abilities/price. I would go with the tractor that had the best dealer available.

As I said I love the Kubota, yet the dealership in this area leaves a lot to be desired. The JD dealer is hands up over the Kubota dealer. This could mean a lot on the purchase of the new tractor.

Buy the tractor from the best area dealer for service and parts.

Hi, yes im still here! The problem I discovered was a stuck spool. It is located right behind the solenoid that "turns on" the PTO. I just gave it a tap and it started movin again. No problems since. Hope this helps !

I have a TC30, 4 WD, with the 7308 loader on it, and it does a great job for me. I have put almost 900 pounds in it, and it will carry the load very well. It takes me about 5 min. to remove or install the fel, and it requires no tools to do so.

Unless you can find a used machine locally in the 50 to 70 hp range I would suggest a look at a Kioti DK55 or DK65. For the money spent, none of the other brands can touch it for the features and reliability you will get.

I SERIOUSLY recommend taking a look at a Kioti DK65S. You can get one with a FEL, 6' rotary cutter, and PHD for about $35,000. The Deere is a NICE machine but you will pay DEERELY for it compared to the Kioti, ;O)

Buy a log splitter and get the work out. A wood processor is just not worth the HUGE cost unless you sell LARGE volumes of firewood. I mean along the lines of 100 cords or more per year.

denwood, ALL Dodge Cummins pickups have a crank case breather bottle that is supposed to be serviced at each oil change. Most folks are not even aware of this. If it is not properly serviced and cleaned; it will blow residue all over the oil pan and front timing gear cover. Just a chore to look after owning a Cummins. You can get a techical service bulletin applied that will reroute the crank case breather tube applied if you take it to the dealer and tell them that the engine dumps oil on steep slopes. I have over 30,000 miles on my Cummins and she doesn't leak a drop. I put half of a Gym sock rolled up in the crank case breather bottle to absorb the normal blow by but you will still have to wipe off the fan and front timing cover at each oil change. Just part of owning a Cummins. They ALL do this; some more than others. Not the best design, but still the BEST diesel on the market in my opinion.

I ended up getting 285/75 16 Mastercraft Courser AT tires which are made by Cooper and look like their Discoverer LT. Tires look nice and seem to ride better than the the Michelin LTX 265/75 16 tires that were the OEM tires. The tires do make a minimal amount of noise over the Michelin's but with the radio on and the Cummins purrin' you don't notice it.

Should not be a problem as long as you get a complete motor with all manifolds and injection pump.

We change them every time we change the oil, at least. Some do not make it that long.

45 hrs on my B7800. Dealer gave me front forks with my trade in of BX2200 to B7800. Got bucket off and forks on OK, lot harder getting bucket back on. Should get better with experience. Was going to give the forks away but was building a house and decided to keep them to move stacks of wood. Forks are great for this and absolutly fantastic for moving rocks. Only way to move big rocks. Used to push them all over the place with bucket because they were to big for bucket but forks slide right under them and place them exactly where you want them. Recommending forks for wood and rock moving. Another side item between BX2200 and B7800. Digging with front bucket. Not good with BX2200 because of less traction/weight but alot better with B7800. BX2200 lower center of gravity per some earlier advisors but B7800 seems much more stable to me on hill sides. BX2200 also had 60"mmm but B7800 has 6" RFM. I like the RFM better and with a little practise can get really close with it. Just have to be careful where front starts and back ends with front bucket attached and rfm.

I'm not a fan of welding to the bucket itself. Unless you know the type of steel used, it isn't possible to have a proper weld procedure. I drilled two 11/16" holes through the cutting edge to bolt the load bar to. The forks slide along the load bar for adjusting the width. Depending on where your tooth bar bolts, you may be able to use them. The buchet is obviously strongest at thye coners where the opposing plates offer stiffening, but the sides of the bucket are too thin for any bolt bearing capacity. I chose to bolt through the cutting edge based on it's thickness and proximity to a stiffened edge.

If you don't like the female and male ends where they are, switch them. I agree, my last tractor was set up with the females on the tractor and the males on the implement. Not sure there is any rationalization for having it one way or another. My neighbot set his rears up half/half. One side of the circuit is male on the tractor, the other side is female. I believe from the standpoint of fluid flow, the half/half set-up would be the easiest to justify.

There are two fuel filters on the bx2200. Sounds like you have a lot of hours on yours if the radiator was plugged up. Don't like hearing the guage was near the red - this could be a problem of it overheating and doing some engine damage. I'd replace both fuel filters. They are the exact same filter. They are actually small junk little lawn mower filters and should be changed often with the lousey fuel that's out there these days. Mine ran like heck and a changed mine and it straightened it right out. I change mine every 100 hours.
