45 hrs on my B7800. Dealer gave me front forks with my trade in of BX2200 to B7800. Got bucket off and forks on OK, lot harder getting bucket back on. Should get better with experience. Was going to give the forks away but was building a house and decided to keep them to move stacks of wood. Forks are great for this and absolutly fantastic for moving rocks. Only way to move big rocks. Used to push them all over the place with bucket because they were to big for bucket but forks slide right under them and place them exactly where you want them. Recommending forks for wood and rock moving. Another side item between BX2200 and B7800. Digging with front bucket. Not good with BX2200 because of less traction/weight but alot better with B7800. BX2200 lower center of gravity per some earlier advisors but B7800 seems much more stable to me on hill sides. BX2200 also had 60"mmm but B7800 has 6" RFM. I like the RFM better and with a little practise can get really close with it. Just have to be careful where front starts and back ends with front bucket attached and rfm.

Enjoy your 7800. Spent the weekend with the forks on ours. Moved 192 landscape timbers around the yard with them. Would't be without.

I was thinking about getting a set of forks for my 7510, but have gotten conflicting advise. One dealer said fine, but be careful. Another said the forks would make the tractor too prone to tip and he would not sell them to me. Just wondering, is the 7510 too light to use a set of forks or not? I would use them mostly to move stuff around -- for example, the other day I stacked about 10 oak 1x6x10s on the front arms of the tractor -- with forks, it would have been easier and I could have put on a few more. ....

Forks off the front of the bucket definitely change the ratings of the loader. The load out in front of the bucket moves the center of gravity farthur forward than a load in the bucket, making the tractor much more prone to nose tipping.
Like anything else, common sense must prevail. If the loader is rated at 660 lbs prperly ballasted, you may only want to pick 300 on the forks. The tactor will let you know if you have aq problem.
The dealer is probably doing the smart thing not selling them to you. Too many lawyers in this country.
