I currently have three trailers with electric brakes and have traded or sold three others.<br>

None of them would lock the brakes with the break-away switch or by manually manipulating the brake controller. But they would all smoke 'em in a panic stop. <br>
<br>
The only thing I can suggest is to drive it. If you can feel the trailer dragging the truck toward the end of each stop on a paved road...... or if you can get them to lock up on a gravel road..... then they a probably working OK.

You will find the hooks most useful.... I recommend you get the bracing and welding done.

The day you get a tractor delivered, take a picture. That is as good as it will ever look. The first bucket of dirt will start taking the paint off.

When connecting the loader the same as disconnecting turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic valve into all four positions and then try and connect again. When dissconnecting the loader from the tractor it is important to remember to find an area that is large enough for the loader to be extended out the front and the tractor and still level!

Last time I checked, when a business gets my money, I get something back. When government takes my money they give it to someone who won't work, or they use it to feed breakfast to already overweight school children.

Funchy, my house is sided with vertical cedar shiplap (very soft wood) over 1/2 inch plywood. I think the soft cedar is what these bees like. I have actually seen squirrel tracks on one side of my house. I have no signs of moisture or rot.

Sure MikeJD, a picture would be great. How far can you reach with with this sprayer. Could you hit the eaves at 2 stories? At 3 stories? The guy who sprayed the house for me couldn't hit the eaves at 3 stories (side of house where I am 2 stories up and basement exposed).

32 degrees is fairly cold to start a diesel CUT. I always cycle the glow plugs on my TC33D when temps are lower than 50 degrees--takes less energy to start the engine so it's easier on the battery and the starter. But now my NH LS180 skid steer will start without glow plug assistance down to about 15 degrees; my 23-year-old Case DH5 trencher with a bulldozer engine will start without any aids at 10 degrees.

On the CUT, if the fuel cap vent is plugged, the air in the tank has contracted overnight creating a vacuum making it even harder for the fuel pump to suck. A couple puffs of black smoke is normal. White or grey is not.

You might want to look into the legalities about modifying the ROPS in any way. My buddy who owns a fab shops refused point-blank to modify one for me stating that each version of a ROPS has to be designed and rigorously tested to stringent gov't. specs. Case in point: take a look at the Chinese tractors NorTrac sells--in some of the photos they are using black, bolt-on, steel stiffeners in two places on the ROPS--a band-aid approach for poor roll-over results is my guess. <br>

Just a thought, and I'm not a lawyer, but you may void or invalidate any type of insurance (life, casuality, disability, etc.) if you were to get hurt, maimed, or killed if the incident involved the ROPS---and the insurance co. could easily prove it (they would have the evidence of the modified ROPS). They're defense to deny a claim would be that but for the fact the ROPS wasn't modified the insured would still be alive.<br>

Years ago I was designer of Harley-Davidson parts. We used to call the oval-shaped tubular piece in front of the engine a "crash bar"--until someone did crash, got hurt and sued H-D and won. His arguement was that it didn't save him from a crash. And it's now called an "engine guard". <br>

While you are there cleaning the radiator, might as well inspect the two rubber elbows at the hydraulic fluid cooler. Any cracks or spilts is a baaaad thing! Mine went at around 200 hours. My dealer had several sets in stock so what's that tell you?

In my humble opinion SS is the best thing since sliced bread. Well worth the cost. Mine has 360 hrs and there is a little slop at the outer tie rod ends at the knuckles--other than that no problems. I have it on a TC33D with no loader. I do a lot of close-quarter residential work (grading, brush hogging, power raking). SS will allow you to get up next to soemthing like a fence and if you get too close you can literally turn the wheel and walk away from it (depending on what's attached on the hitch). SS is also good for getting out of muddy situations as the axle travels in a arc so it has more undesturbed earth to grab on to. Driving in reverse is like driving a hi-lo forklift in forward---the manueverablilty is excellent. When brushhogging I can do a zero-turn radius to the right. (Don't try that with the left brake unless you have a skinny monkey on board). And I found that the grille guard for the 35-series will fit the 29 series--only problem is the tires scrub the suitcase weights bit.

Only the 25hp version of the Y385 engine is EPA certified. some dealers are offering 284s with 25HP engines, all you get with more HP is the decal, so I wouldn't pay extra for a 284. The 200 series is not really suitable for round bale handling. I would go to 300 series (30 OR 35hp). a kama ts254c Can be fitted with Koyker 160 and have enough lift to handle up ro 1500, I would not recommend that much weight on the front of a 200 series Jinma. Also the lift box on the 25HP KAMA is the same as 300 series Jinma and can handle about 1000 lbs on the 3 point.

We purchased a TC30 today! We got the 4wd hydrostatic with the NH7308 loader industrial tires and a 5' box blade. They beat Kubotas price and had the 2.9 apr. Thank You to everyone who responded

I'm assuming you also checked the air filter to determine if it is clean. You may want to check your fuel filter. It could be restricting fuel flow. Could you have sediment in your tank that moves when doing hills causing a restriction of flow?

We have a tc 29d new holland with a great bend loader on it. Its rated that u can lift 600lbs. but we've did about 800. It'd work great for you.
