I hate to give advice on how to cheat the system, but I like to take into account the spirit of the rules vs. the letter of the law. If the link isn't too long or complex, just type it into the body of the message without the http prefix and substitute the word "dot" for each "." There's still a chance the filter might catch it though. Don't get me wrong, its not as if you're trying to do anything improper if the filter is simply there to filter out spam.

Just took delivery of my new B7800. WHAT A GREAT MACHINE!<br>
I love it. Traded in my BX2230 with 117 hrs for it. Should have bought it in the beginning.I can do so much more in the sugar woods than I could with the 2230. I'm not saying that the 2230 wasn't a good machine because it was it took all I could give and was ready to give more.Just wasn't big enough to haul logs and make trails. Thanks for all the threads they were valuable in helping me make up my mind.

You really wanna hear some HOWLING about greasy rags? Take em in and throw in the washer with hot water...That reminds me I need to get a shop washer.

Cheap grease wipes right off and good grease clings like a good turd on the back of the toilet. Let me bring up the howling thing again...

I leave the grease around the joints it helps capture dirt and junk. I do wipe off the exposed fittings. The recessed hole on heavy machinery kept/left full and cleaned before greasing, which is daily.

I think a nortrac 254 is plenty of tractor for my 30+ acres,,use a 5 ft hog with power to spare,and I mow up very steep slopes,,you just got to figure out which gear works for what you're doing,,to high a gear,its like any thing else,,I have never run short of power,most of what I mow is not smooth either,so,don't want to go any faster,,use a 800 lb 5 ft tiller with it too,no problems,plenty of power there as well,use a 6 ft heavy duty blade,,,now as far as fel work,,I don't have one but would say that it would be safe to use as long as you didn't use it like a dozer,as long as you were aware that it is just a small tractor,and were very carefull with clutch,,would not recommend hoe with it,,if you are going to be digging dirt,,you need something bigger maybe 35 or 40 h.p.,,at least,,,as far as down time greg,,I ain't had any in over 300 hrs,,how many hrs you got on that karma now? thingy

And no new noises, but you are correct that i can drive it but not loader / 3pt activity.

you must drive japanese cars like me. Just buy a 10 year or more old GM and watch the electronics fail one after the next. My parents still insist on it and I just shake my head. I'm sure a lot of you will say "i have a ----- and it has been great." Well some are. I just try to stack the deck in my favor. It also never rains inside my cars, snow never gets in them, etc. I'm sure the tractor is sealed but how long before they leak just a tiny bit. I really can't like the PTO designed for Ma Cleaver to be comfortable to use, The kind on some lawn mowers. I can engage the heaviest implements at slowest idle and never grunt the tractor. I can also tell if there is too much load on an implement, like twine wrapped on blades or clogged with some weeds before I fully commit to engaging. I understand if you are buying new, there are no options, so enjoy what you get, I am sure it will be fun.

I would only woory about the lift capacity of the 3 point if the brush bull is heavy duty, I know 6' heavy duty are very heavy. I have used the bush hog SQ84 on my 4300 and it works fine. 84" of light duty bush hog. I mow down 3" diameter trees, and everything else. Thick grass does slow it some but not a problem. You need roughly 5 horse power per foot of cut.

I love this tractor, and I have operated and owned many. I use it for loading, lifting,wheelbarrow, mowing, leveling, firewood, everything except backhoe work. I have a dedicated machine for that, check out my pictures. Once you use a track hoe, nothing else even comes remotely close, and I have owned a full size backhoe, 3 point hoe, and skidloader hoe.

EVERY BODY THAT I HAVE TALKED TO ABOUT HIM SAID THE SAME THING HE WOULD NOT LIE TO YOU OR MIS LEAD YOU TO GET A SALE. HE EVEN TOOK ME OVER TO ONE OF HIS CUSTOMERS AND LET ME CHECK ONE OUT. I HEARD ABOUT HIM FROM A GOOD FRIEND THAT HAS BOUGHT ALOT FROM HIM. YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AT THE 770 OR A 990 THEY ARE ROCK SOLID AND THEY STILL MAKE THEM AND HAVE FOR TEARS PAST. GOOD LUCK FLYNN

That 53 inch bucket makes the problem a bit worse.

You can see why I tell folks to stay away from the 61 inch bucket on this model, unless they are moving sawdust or snow.

I know this is a little late, but in the Kubota Workshop Manual I ordered under "Tire Liquid Injection" it specifically says "IMPORTANT Do not fill the front tires with liquid."

Sorry but they don't get in to the why part.

They also recommend only filling to 75% full. A 100% filled tire in incompressible.
