This is right after they advised me 3 bolt hole pattern mounting kits were no longer available.

They may have gone belly up so check it out carefully before buying. jeff

The pedal is too tall and that makes it hard to reach and hard to put adequate pressure on it.

The cheapest and easiest way might be to add a set of Easy Change extensions to the lower links.

I think they add about 3.5 inches.

i'm very curious as too if this will effect the overal performance of a bh on a 790 i would think so since it powered by the same hydro system. any insight? does everyone agree that this is a good thing too do? is there anyone here that can guide me in the right direction in checking the pressure and doin the mod? my unit should be delivered in 30 days. i can hardly wait!

AV8R, going back to college and finishing your degree is the best thing you could do. I was 31 when I went back to college. I was a mechanic for Otis Elevator company and just was tired of the ups and down with a few jerks in between.

I have now a BS Microbiology, BS in Animal Science, BS in Botany. MS in Biotechnology, MS Microbiology and I have just finished my Ph.D. in Biotechnology. I am now 43 years old making more money then I have ever dreamed of. So don�t think about your age when at college just get the best grades you can because there is a golden ring for you also when you finish.

The market, prices and services offered/wanted differ WILDLY from area to area.

It would be like saying "How much will dinner at a restaurant cost me?"

What restaurant and where will dictate the answer more than anything.

The other factor is your target market, are you aiming at Yuppies or Seniors? One wants full-blown do everything service, the other will just want the basics.

Probably your best bet will be to speak to people in your area, dealers also, they know what people want based on what the contractors are buying/using.

Luckily for me it was the original owner that got stuck with what I consider an unreasonable bill. Through more testing I�ve confirmed my suspicions that the clutch is not fully disengaging. I plan to purchase the service manuals next time we travel to where a dealer (different dealer) is located, then I�ll see where I go from there.

I don't have a sunshade. What I want to know is if there is a kit that can be purchased to replace the current hardware that is used to attach the removeable top of the ROPS (about the top 8-10" or so). The hardware is 4 bolts and 2 inserts that slide into the ROPS. You can see the ROPS at the picture here: http://erbhenry.com/pages/used_equip_detail.asp?ID=17. You can see the 2 bolts on the one side of the ROPS that connect the top and bottom portions.

The diesel in the X-series will kick the Deere generator along at full power.

I know people with remote lodges in Alaska who turn on their diesel generators in the spring and shut them down when they leave in the fall.

Assuming the parameters Frank mentioned above, I see no problem running your little diesel 200 hours straight, shutting down to change the oil, and going right back at it.

I have a 300 gal. tank on a stand & a 300 gal. on on skids with a hand pump. The latter is for unleaded gas the stand tank for diesel. I get off road diesel for about $.50 per gallon cheaper, gas cost me about the same as at the station. I have not filled the diesel tank in 4 years and carry my fuel for my NH TC33D in five gallon plastic cans but can go to a distributer and get "Off Road" fuel at the bulk price. I use about 10 gallons a month, it is hardly worth $600 to fill my tank that would last 5 years and take too much stabilizer.

Just for the info, there are a few other tractors that fall into the sub-CUT category. Massey Ferguson has the GC2300 and GC2310 (2310 has loader and backhoe), CaseIH and New Holland each have their own version of the same machine (only styling differences between the two), and Cub Cadet offers a few models, including versions with 2WD and gas engines. All the others are 4WD diesels. From what I have seen, all these tractors are remarkably similar in specs and features.

The weight of 15 cubic feet of loose soil will be in the neighborhood of 1000 to 1200 lbs, based on a bulk density of 1.1 to 1.3. It would be about the same weight as a good 4x5 round bale of hay.

We can all learn something from anyone, My understanding on the matter is that the foam will maintain the grounds natural temp. and not allow the frost to penetrate. If you look at my pics of my house, my shed roof off of the garage
is on 18" x6" round concrete pads with 2" of foam under them.
Seems to stay alright with Maine temps?
I think that if you can keep the water away from them it helps.

You could try adding enough Kerosene to make it a 60/40: #2/kerosene blend (std. Winterblend). Maybe one of the aftermarket addatives will do, too? I don't know anything about them, I haven't ever used them.

I did the same thing with my place, made it into a horse farm on 5 acres. I bought a B2410, and it does the job nicely, though for round bales, it is a bit on the low side since my farmer neighbor tends to pack the bales really tight and they are ratnher heavy, so mine cant pick them up on either the front or back lift, they weigh in at ~1100#. So far that is the ONLY limitation I have found with mine, it handles every chore I toss at it, 6' finish mower, 5' tiller, 6' grader blade, 6' landscape rake, and a 5' box scraper. Traction is the limiting factor I found with the blades, other than that, it will pull that 6' finish mower through grass as tall as the front tires without too much problem.

Over 190 hours on my B2410 since I got it 2 years ago. Cleaning stalls is much easier, just toss the crap out into the aisle(concrete floors) then scoop it up with the bucket and move it out to the pile. The pile is well over 8' tall by now and at least 10'wide by 20' long. Try moving a wheelbarrow up that! The past weekend and this last weekend I spent time putting in an arena. It is 80' x 140', and got 8 truckloads of ag-lime dumped in there. Spreading with a landscape rake and the bucket sure is much easier than doing it by hand! Also mowing 3 acres of grass is much easier. I would say it has been the best purchase I have ever made.

I have a b7500 with 135 hours on it , with Kubota snowblower on it , no mower or any other attachments, tires the type not ag, not turf, in between type , am not sure what you call them, nice clean never hurtor wrecked tractor used mostly to spray my apple trees, moving to small yard and have no need for it, what do you think I should ask -get for it in south centrial PA??
