Ole Jeff if you only knew. Very good money in peanuts. Not sure about the kind some of you eat but in green peanuts good money. For boiled peanuts you did them green and do not dry them out. At first of season they are like $45 per bushel but as season goes on drops to about $25 or $30. Green peanuts are very time senstive in harvesting and storage as they will spoil quicker than your Mama did you and worst. FYI I did raise green peanuts for a few years. Did I mention time is very tight on them? It would seem a good part time business, not so. It is a seasonal business. When you did them a clock begins on how long before they are either in refrigeration on in the boiling water. Sold digger and combine last year. Sure am glad you guys like them dry. Not near enough boiled ones for me! Sold peanut digger to a gentleman who daughter quit as a Registered Nurse to sell boiled peanuts on side of road.

20 degrees, it was here also, in the freezer!!! Sorry. We have had more cold and colder weather than our average this fall. Where or where is Al Gore when needed?

So Jeff, you are 1 1/2 years late on them peanuts. But we could have made money. Then not sure how many locals would buy boiled peanuts from someone who talks funny. :)

Greg, totally believe you. Not aware that we have EWP here. Our pines normally lose the top. After Hurricane Hugo hit just North of Charleston SC there were miles of topless pine trees like 20 to 30 feet high. Made me think of corn field after combine ran through it. To see our pines uprooted it normally follows long rainly period. You will find people taking excavator and digging the total pine with stump and pushing it over. Due to how small a diameter the root ball is that can work very well.

Murf, it is my understanding The Depression was not as severe in Canada as it was in the USA. Understand that some US companies or organizations at least moved to Canada temporary due to how much better Canada's economy was.

It is odd what we may like to eat until we find out what it is. Still remember the day I was eating pottied meat and turn the can around to read while eating. Last of that. Use to eat and to different degree some meats that today the thought of does not sit well with me. Part of the reason we probably are this way is how blessed we have been in our food supply for many years.

I think all are sorry for your loose and many here have lost their share of loved ones and some can tell you about their injuries also. At age 8 loosing your Dad had to be hard. I lost mine at age 16 which is also too young. This time of year really reminds you of your loss.

I do not understand your statement. It would be good if you were to use complete words and full sentences and not post part of a sentence at the time. Again, there are some great people here with bigger hearts than you might believe.

Thanks for the info on the bolts. Sad to say many people don't understand the importance or difference between grades. Then they don't realize nuts come in different grades. Know that has been discussed here before.

I have a 2 wheel drive 04 Trunda and it has 6 lug rims, looked to be sure. I have pulled 2 tons a many a time behind it on trailer with no problem. Now fertlizer spreader with I think 4 tons was a little more than it needed but pulled that in one disked field spreading fertlizer. Never had a GM pickup but have had Datsun (great diesel engine terrible body), Ford F150(ok), Dodge Dakota (great service 7,000 way too much to pull), Dodge 1500 (a work horse, like mechanic lots of repairs) totaled in wreck with smallest Toyota car which drove off from the accident. Went to Toyota because of that. Yep recall on ball joints, now which bought new vechile has never had a recall??? The dealership said have yet to find a bad one. Very nice and was ready when promised and not the dealership who sold it.

My youngest son in law has a Tundra which has an easy life. Far as I know no problems. Last year model year before they went to the BIG boy frame. My oldest has a 1 year old with 20,000 miles for most part easy miles. But I have pulled a 6 to 7,000 excavator behind it on a two axle trailer and it ran. Had hauled the same excavator on a 12 ton gooseneck trailer which weighed more with a Ford F350 diesel. No comparison, the Trunda had little better mileage and much more power. Again trailer was lighter one with the Trunda. Have friends with all the brands, the new Tundra will pull and run with any out there and leave most.

Glad to know where the one bad Trunda is. :)

NH does not make these tractors correct? Wonder why this same question does not keep coming up on the brand that is making these tractors? Would seem something about a part spec for NH or a difference in the plant where NH is being built must be the problem.

I am very much like him, most don't realize we normally read a sentence then we write each word. Think that is why reading often works well and writing does not. A while back saw a test that almost each word was mispelled with I think the first and last letter being correct but those between out of order. The funny thing per the test was most people could read the meaning of the message and some would never pick up the words were not spelled correctly. kt

OK, my brothers to the North what good ideas. Murf lots of nursery stock gone near here. Have an aquanatnce in that business. Matter of fact he tried to rent the same land a few years ago.

AB, never thought of that either. Talked with attorney and his advice, nothing you do will make any real difference. Well he did not change anything for that either.

As I told our county officials at least on two different occasions let me learn the rules and then I can play your game with you. That is where money helps as it hires those who knows the rules to begin with. Had a real estate appraiser who works to prove the value of land being taken don't miss the loss of "peace and quite". It is a something you can be hold up as loss to be paid for.

Have never see a tire that was filled with foam I am aware of. How is the ride? How does it handle such as a raised place to ride over it? Is it able to flex over such as plowed ground or does it just hold it's shape regardless of the countour of the ground?

For filled ag tires I totally agree with Murf, for my not filled stiff wall (R-4?) on my Compact tractor, better use an air gauge. EW hit it, stiff walls and the tire did not show being low and yes hit a bank of dirt just right and off it came.

Reading this has caused me to go humm. Have two tractors and one gear trans and one hydro. The hydro I pulled a few months ago and it did not fire to run (turned out to be problem with fuel cut off (manual one) the knob was bad and not opening for fuel flow. The engine did turn over and have used it a good bit since then and have noticed no problem in any manner. But it was not pulled far.

Totally sensible, but these that have had nothing posted in over a year keep popping up. They have to come from web searches for they or the ones I remember are from people new to TP. One of the reasons it bugs me, makes me wonder how many think others must think I am a goof and never post here again. I know have made much worse goof's of EW has a long list of them. Sure am glad to be of value to him. Keeps me going.

Well before any of your run off and buy this for fuel transfer from a bulk tank to your tractor read the mfg web site. The best I understand it it needs to be plumbed to the bottom of the tank and will not lift the fuel as a true fuel pump will. It wants to be within 12 inches of the tank and mounted at the lowest fuel level. Below is part of the info on the web site. But for the price seems it would be a good option for many of us small fuel pumpers. kt

And AB and Murf gave you two ways and tools to test that open circuit.

If you remove the glow plugs to test if they get hot be sure you ground them to complete the circuit. If not, you may end up replacing good glow plugs.

I am not familar with your set up. But it seems you are talking about to level the implement right to left and I thought you meant front to rear.

Being smart here..a mini excavator should give you the clearance. :)
