Guess I owe an apology to members been busy with my stuff and not checking in or posting much.<br>

12/12/2011 at work thought had chest cold. Chest real tight. Then cold sweat arms tingle call 911. trip to St Joes in Syracuse first time ever in "Meat Wagon" with sirens and speed. <br>
<br>
5 stents later, 96mm worth (about 4" for the metric challenged) good ass chewing by dr because I told him I was going right back to work...<br>
<br>
Started Cardiac threapy 1/13/12 all hooked up. Found my limits and set goals. started at gym 1/31/11. Exercise 6 days a week, chanded diet, limit portions, shed 70+ pounds by 5/25/12. <br>

I am running now can run 3.5-4 miles at 10.5 minute miles. Not bad for an old fat man. I am at 175# ride bike 15-25 miles a couple 3 times a week, walk 6-8 miles a week and run 4-8 miles a week.<br>

Dr not even give stress test, show him Heart Rates from runs, 162 beats and right back do to 80 in a few minutes. 42 at rest. Have to work really hard now to get above 150.<br>

Haven't weighed tis since I was 23.<br>

Frank I hear ya about posting for the different stuff. I feel a little bad also about lack of visit time also.

I'm on a pretty good exercise program get 8-10 hours a week, gym, walk, run, bicycle plus I feel like doing stuff in the shop now. (lost over 70#) now on a maintenance program. The Harley only has about 6,600 miles on it so far this season that is neglected also.

But like the "ole boy" said: "if you don't have time to exercise a couple hours a week do you have time to be dead 24/7."

Bleeding fairly straight forward crack a couple fuel lines at the injectors. Turn over till you get fuel squirt, retighten. Do not use ether to start. You will dry the cylinders and lock up engine if you use to much. If you have to use something to help start use wd40

Have you checked the float. Set for correct level? Maybe heavy allowing flooding. How about your choke?

Record sales in the handgun arena. Iam buying all the ammo I can afford. Brass Copper and Lead assembled have doubled in price since osamma took office. Ammo that was .25 a round b4 is now .50+. A good investment I think.

Hadn't thought about leg in a while. I had picture of it on desk top for the longest as a reminder how quick something can happen even while being extreamly careful and expecting something.

Leg doing great. Not problems that I can determine.

As I recall there were several threads about this. I have a 4400 8/2002 if I remember. I bought it with turfs on it. Was back at JD after reading about it here and complained and they changed it no questions.

The tractor is now pushing 2000 hours rear tires like new yet and am on the 2nd set of steer new last year.

Neighbor has 4400 with old style axle does not use it on his lawn and it still working good and it does scuff.

Yes clutch can be adjusted. I do not have my manual up here. There is a specific set of steps to follow to adjust.

Mine has ove 1800 hours and it was adjusted early after break in and has not needed since. But I do not ride it.

You will need the manual to do it correctly.

JDGreen might weight in on this also. I'll try to remember to bring manual up tomorrow night when I come in.

I thinke you are looking for the air/fuel adjustment. Hopefully a smart guy on the Blue line will chime in. If not you need to get ahold of the injector pump parts break down to see where it is.<br>

Air filter is clean? (VERY IMPORTANT to check this)<br>

Black smoke is unburned fuel. Does it clear when it gets to rpm after started. When you work the engine mowing is there black smoke?<br>

If smoke clears and only a hint of black smoke when working the engine you are probably ok. We just need a little more info.

Randy yes I replaced it. Much the same as you I had my doubts. But I figured $5 what to heck I try it.

Again I can't say enough good things about the guy with the info. It saved me a lot of money. There have been many other folks on here that have received advice that saved them money and headaches.

Anyways not one problem since.

Sounds more like resistance. Clean the terminals at batt and frame gnd and starter. Cleck the cables for corrosion in the cable lugs also.

Me thinks Ken right it's oil. Filters are: Hyd, Fuel, inner and outer air and oil. Don't forget to check suction screen.

I hear ya I'm in the window but no way do I see surviving on my 401, savings, SS and military with this scum bag in the white house and the really worthless garbage this state sent back to the senate. 2012 hopefully will clean out the rest of the vermin and get us back on the right track.<br>

The lever may need some lub. However mine has always been a little sensitive. I would buy it buy the manuals and adjust the clutch linkage if needed then get a feel for the shifter. Or take it to dealer and have them go thru it doing adjustments etc.

BTW you are on a good site. JDGreen will weight in on most JD related tractor issues and he is pretty sharp.

Not sure why it would have a 300x that is a newer loader. Possiably did not buy one with the tractor and decided later they wanted one. My neighbor has a 420 on his twin to mine go figure.

I use a litte bur of ether now and then. Make sure you do not have glow plugs in the intake. Ignition there would not be good.

Never use a large amount or you will lock it up also it dries cylinder walls. WD40 is a better alternative.

Old more worn enginges may need help starting.

Nope engines do not become addicts.
