I am looking at buying a John Deere 24 T baler. One of my friends told me to make sure that parts are still available. Anybody have any Idea? I am going to pay only 200 dolars for it and the baler works. But if you can't get parts it will only take one malfunction to make it a bad decision.
Thanks

I tried looking up a 24T baler on JDParts dot com and nothing came up. Maybe not a good sign. You might call your nearest JD Dealer and ask to be sure. ....

It's no spring chicken as I believe it was built in the 60's but not sure as it may have had it's start a decade earlier. Used or new parts should be available either thru your deere dealer or most any dealer for the knotters as they were all deering knotters back then. Consistant string is the most important part for good tying. ....
