Just trying to get some info on the Borgford grapple. I've seen a couple of references to it, but I can't find any info on it. Also any problems that have arisen from it. Thanks.

Here's a link. I've had mine for a year now and have no complaints at all. It's a very well built piece of equipment. ....

kwschumm, Nice looking tractor! How many horsepower is that? What size grapple do you have on the front? Did you do your own plumbing for the grapple? Don't mean to flood you with questions, but I was pretty excited with seeing your setup. That's a real workhorse. Thanks for the link. ....

ATI builds one that we have been using for some time. They retail for 803 and only add about 140 lbs to the bucket weight so they give you a lot of lifting capacity. The ATI web site is at www.preseeder.com ....

WPHILL, my tractor is a JD 4310 with 32 hp. The grapple is a five foot BG-5 and it has impressed the heck out of me. I bought the grapple as part of the package and it was plumbed by the dealer before delivery. It replaces the bucket and uses the loader hydraulics and a third SCV to control the top jaw. Art mentioned another style of grapple that mounts on top of an existing bucket. Those are a workable, lighter and less expensive option but have the disadvantage of picking up dirt with every load and buckets are not nearly as strong as the BG-5. ....
