JD4110 HST, 410FEL and 413 rotary cutter $14,435 or Kubota B7500 HST, 272 FEL and Rhino SE4 $13,350. Does anyone have and experience with either of these tractors...Good and Bad. Wife says I have to make a decision by tomorrow or she will find something to buy!!! Also, what is the difference between the LX-4 cutter and the 413? I have 5 acres to clean up then maintain.

It would be 50/50 to me. Both are fine machines. The 4110 is a couple hundred pounds heavier and will get a bit better traction. If you are going to mow lawns the 4110 might be a little more likely to tear up the grass on tight turns. What kind of tires are you getting? ....

Both have R-4 tires. Thats what makes it a tough decision, there isn't a nickles worth of difference in the two machines (that I can tell except as you noted weight and the JD loader will lift a few pounds more. I have to say, th JD is more comfortable (to me) to sit on and it may come down to a couple of little things like that. Unless someone on here jumps up and says something good or bad about one or the other. Thanks for your response Mark ....

IR _

The loader on the Kubota is the lighter of the two versions offered for the 7500. Other than that, can't offer much more advie for you. ....

IR, you're the one that's going to be setting on it. If it were me I'd pay a little more for comfort, especially if I was going to keep it a while and JD has a better resale Value.

In a case like this where the two models are equally capable, don't bother with comparing specs. I see people obsessing on specs all the time. People say "but this one lifts more on the 3PH, but that one flows a half gallon more per minute on the hydraulics, yada yada yada..." Fuhget about it. What is important is which tractor feels right to you, which dealer you would rather use, etc. Not whether one lifts 100 pounds more. ....

Actually the 4110 loader is a little too powerful for the tractor. I got it stuck under a root a couple times and it lifted the rear end of the tractor off the ground. That may not sound like much, but I was carrying 500 pounds of ballast and I weigh 285. So be careful.
Also sit on the 4110 and turn and look over both shoulders, like you were going to back up for a long period of time, and see if your right knee hits the loader joystick with your foot pressed on the HST pedal. I was always dumping a load when I backed up. ....
