I have had my B7800 for about 9 months now. Probably only 20 hrs. more than when I got it. Was using it today in the garden and it would just kill. Sometimes just a little and sometimes to a stop. It would start right up. Before I get all the manuals out and start the painstaking process of checking all the circuitry I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else. I am thinking it is a safety switch somewhere that is failing intermittently. Not using the power take off, just doing some loader work. Any ideas?

Are you moving around in the seat when this happens, or leaning to one side? Could be a seat switch going bad, the wiring ready to break at the switch or just plain too much movin' 'round in the seat. ....

An electrical switch is not normally a sometime or almost thing. They normally work or they don't. Have the fuel filters been checked lately? ....

supposedly all filters were changed prior to delivery. If it continues to happen I'll start digging, otherwise I will do my normal maintenance with special attention to inspection of all components. Thank you for your responses. ....

I would follow Art's suggestion and check the fuel filter(s). All it takes is a little trash or water. Have had same results you describe due to water in the fuel and also a wasp in the fuel tank. If your fuel filter is clear look carefully for water. Why not just take it off and drain to see if any water in it or trash for that mater. ....
