The deere 2520 has 20hrs on the meter and yesterday was getting wood from a neighbor down the street, noticed a
kinda hot smell and then was done and put it away in the
garage. The next morning found a puddle of oil under the left front wheel and looks like it is coming from the left front drive or axel black part of tractor. Dealer picking up tomorrow. Oil has a kinda burnt smell to it. Anyone else have this happen this quick on new tractor.

It's not a 2520 but the 4310 I bought around 2003 hasn't had any out of the ordinary problems. The battery was replaced this year and a couple of years ago it had some battery corrosion around the radiator (not the best location for a wet cell battery). In your case it could simply have been a bad seal or it was nicked somehow during assembly. Burnt smell? I dunno, it all sort of smells burnt to me.
Good luck, and please let us know what your dealer finds.

Finally got my machine back after 2 weeks in the shop. They replaced 2 seals in the left front axle gear box. I can't believe how long it actually takes to get something fixed and get parts, 2 weeks. I order things all day long by 5pm and get them tomorrow. I think i can get my car fixed most places in a day or two anywhere. The repair was billed at 3 hours work at 72hr pickup/delivery was 85 and parts seals and sleeves 45. total about $260 covered by warranty.
They covered the pickup and delivery this time. It cost me $120 to have my 5 acres mowed had no idea when i was getting machine back, they dropped the pickup/delivery. ....
