What replaced it?
It is my understanding John Deere produced the last 455 in 2001.
What model did they replace it with the next year?

I believe the X4nn, X5nn & X7nn replaced the 4nn series and are stil marketed. They higher hydraulic pressure/volume and options including 4WD, "limited" CAT1 3PH etc.

X495 replaced 455 in model year 2002. X740 (2ws) and X744 (4ws) replaced X495 in model year 2006. jd ....
