If you go with the 445 make sure it is '99 or newer or had the camshaft gear replaced with steel one. The plastic cam gear can fail at anytime and then you're looking at a $700 repair...

This same type of scam happened at our dealership a year ago. We knew it was bogus, but played along and sure enough we got a cashiers check in the mail for $8,000 more than we were asking for. The check looked like a grade school art project, so fake. Then the sender kept calling wondering whey the extra money hadn't been wired to him. Making like we were robbing him. Obviously a foreigner because of the accent and delay in the phone. He finally gave up calling and then emailed a voodoo curse on our dealership. That's the last we heard from him.

I was told the new 4X20 tractors replace the 45-4710 models. They have 10% more h.p. than the models they replaced. The 4720 is a new model entirely with more hp. I was told to expect the 3x20 series to be introduced later this fall and they will replace the mid or smaller frame models, not sure which maybe both? Help me out.

Many people had the same thought when the Deere 8000 series ag tractors came out in 1995. Their electrionic systems have proven to be very dependable. Just a thought.

Looking to check price on a '99 JD 4400, sync reverser, dual mid SCV, R4 tires. Also has a 430 loader and 513 rotary cutter. Tractor has approx 200 hrs and looks above avg. condition. Does not to my knowledge have any of the updates done like front axle, tranny, etc. What does a tractor package like this bring? Thanks.

Don't worry about reliability and AWS. They have proven to be bulletproof. As for the question if you need it or not, go for a test drive and pretend like you are mowing your yard, if you have a lot of maneuvering to do, the AWS will sell itself.

Looking to sell a Case 646 compact? tractor s/n 9663453. Onan engine starts and runs. Has a front end loader and ballast box. No mower deck. Not sure of year, approx 25 yrs old? Wheel size and tread options are limited on a 2210. Smaller wheels also limit the height the 3pt will lift hence "limited" cat. 1 hitch
